His hits landed, but the damage that he had thought that would be done, would not be. For starters the female had escaped using some speed induced clone or after image of sorts. While the male that he was now standing upon was transforming into some sort of monster. They seemed to be taking on properties of an ape, but before he could react accordingly to the kid's rising power level he found himself blasted off of his chest via the lighter haired boy's attack. Completely taken off guard he'd fly through the air with the attack before smashing into a large glacier of ice, where he'd find himself locked into place for a moment. "So these brats want to test me, huh?"

[/color] Flexing he'd quickly shoot downwards through the glacier and into the water down below. Now beneath the water he'd begin flying through it deep beneath it's surface and at an alarming rate. His target? The light haired boy. And with this he'd eventually finding himself ascending through the water and through the thick ice above, exploding through it and appearing beside the blue haired teen, aiming to deliver a spinning heel kick to the back of his head. Jean’s jaw dropped, he was awestruck, confused, and amazed all at once. His eyes were glued to Daikon, unable to tear away from the sight of the transformation. He watched as the teenager changed from human to ape before his eyes. The boy never noticed Bulla, not even when she had flown between him and the others. It was too... weird. But he knew, he knew what that transformation meant. Above all, it meant danger. Run.
”Agh!?” a bright light! Jean wasn’t prepared, the flash caught him offguard and immediately blinded him. So when he felt someone grab his arm, he nearly panicked. On instinct, he started to try to pull away, but when he heard Bulla’s voice, he stopped struggling. He raised his other hand to his face and rubbed his fist against his eyes as he was keeping them shut tightly for the moment. “Wh...what? You’re right... I don’t think we can find it without your device,” the girl’s points were valid. Moreover, none of them were strong enough to fight this strange man attacking them, he couldn’t let Bulla get hurt... But one thing was different now... maybe Daikon was strong enough. Jean could sense his powerlevel, the increase in strength was amazing.
Bulla was off, and so was he! No... wait, his eyes were still recovering. Jean tried to open them, they were watery but he was slowly beginning to regain his vision. Everything still seemed blurry and he was going to wait just a few seconds before following after her. But what a mistake that was.
The boy lost sight again, this time everything around him went black as he felt a sharp blow to the back of his head. The force flung him across the ice and he slid all the way until his body crashed into a pile of fallen snow. He was still conscious but... too dizzy to get up, Jean's head was spinning so fiercely he felt like he was going to puke.

Daikon, now as a 75 foot tall brown haired Great Ape. The massive form that he had taken, lifted itself off of the ground. It got up and shifted its red eyes around, looking over the snow covered area. It soon saw something shoot into a snow bank. The big red eyes following the path it came from.
There was a humanoid form there, floating in the air. The Ape let off a roar and flew towards the being. He was upon it in a matter of moments, the distance to him not being that far. A giant fist formed as it was thrown towards the humanoid figure. It only wanted to destroy anything that came within its sights.

His devastating kick would land, yet satisfaction would not be found for he'd soon find a rather huge ape flying towards him. And with it it aimed to clearly punch the living hell out of him and this Validus could not allow for he really liked being in existence. Because of this he quickly descended back down the ice hole he had created. Back into the icy water below he'd raise a brow, an annoyed expression on his face. So the kid turned into a giant ape and his power level had multiplied by at least fifty times. Folding his arms he began to formulate a plan. Clearly he could not take the giant ape boy head on due to the gap in power levels, yet if he could draw him into the water and make physical contact than he could shock the child to death no doubt. And if not that then perhaps he could trap the monkey under the water and let them freeze to death or drown, or perhaps both. As such Validus would stay submerged, as he also sensed the blue haired boy's power level was still in existance, and with a possible uncontrollable ape above he'd wait to see if a friend would kill their friend.

Jean rolled from his stomach onto his back. The giant ape, that was Daikon... it swung its arm at the enemy, but again it seemed the guy had vanished. The light-haired boy wasn't sure where he had disappeared to, he gulped, hoping the over-sized ape wouldn't turn on him now.
Would it be okay, if he tried to catch up to Bulla now...? There was nothing he could do here... Daikon's powerlevel, it was waaay above Jean's now. He could probably handle this opponent as an oozaru, just as Bulla had been saying right before Jean got himself kicked in the skull.
Pushing himself back onto his feet, he groaned in pain. He stared up... and up... tilting his head back more and more until he could see all the way up to the ape's face. It didn't look anything like the the teenager he had known anymore, on top of it all, Jean got a bad taste in the back of his throat when the thought crossed his mind that this ape could crush him with his foot... Ugh, yeah, time to go.
With a pounding head, he took off after the blue-haired girl, glancing back at the transformed Daikon once before he had flown off entirely. "Good luck."

The Ape that was now Daikon was aggravated that its attack missed. Letting off a tremendous roar, it shock the snow and broke some of the iced land. It looked down below to see if it could see the one that was his enemy. A growl escaping his mouth as it was thoroughly irritated now. It let its self drop down into the water. The chill of it not effecting him. It spotted his opponent and charged at him. The water was not slowing him down. Its tremendous strength was not being held back matched with his rage. Throwing another punch at his opponent as it closed in quickly, only a few feet in front of his opponnet now.

Great Ape Daikon's fist had connected with a hard metallic material. The crunch could still be heard as a thump in the deep cold water. His ears still picking it up. A smirk could be seen forming against the lips of the Ape. His read eyes tracing his arm, right down to the fist. Everything confirmed that he had annihilated his opponent.
Quickly flying up to the surface, it emerged and let off a roar. It had destroyed his opponent. That was a great victory indeed. He looked around, seeing if there was anyone else he could attack. It soon began to fly around, looking for another opponent.
