It appears Frosvite's assault was successful: Gelid took a direct hit from the Death Beam just as soon as he was released from the throw, leaving him with perhaps a theory on how to guard himself but no time at all to do so. Doubtfully the other Changeling on the ring could have achieved that very feet himself. But the fight was not over yet, just as expected from this new opponent as he managed to withstand the attack's density and stop himself from falling out of the ring right before getting to it. Frosvite felt a little sorry to have to resort to this, but a battle was a battle and the best way to avoid it was to give up - something he didn't really want to do.
As Gelid made his way floating back to the ring, the orange alien entered his stance once again, gathering his cool and analyzing closely what is his opponent going to prepare for him this time. "(He's physically powerful. A lot more than someone at regular level. He would probably be considered an elite amongst Changelings if schooled there... But just like me, he's on Earth, and he doesn't seem to be a spy for Frieza. That means he's been on his own... I never really took his Ki blasts head on, but I can guess they're powerful. Now that he took mine he can have an idea of what kind of powers I pack. I exposed myself a little early.)" He thought to himself, pointing his finger at Gelid once again and attempting to fire yet another Death Beam.
"Okay." He told himself, arm and finger stuck out at his enemy while his eyes kept very close watch on the other alien's feet. He then shot the thin pink beam, as a psych though. There was power packed behind the beam, but if Gelid were to dodge no massive destruction was going to be done to the wall behind him.

Is that your game? You don't like close confrontations much, hmm? So you intend to pick me off with those ray attacks? That's fine. You'll find them much more difficult to land at this distance. He thought as he saw Frostvite raise his arm and point a finger at him once again. Gelid stood relaxed with his eyes focused on his foe as he waited for the attack to come. He crouched slightly while he waited for the attack to fire.
When the beam was unleashed he would extend his legs fully and leap into the air. Since he'd crouched before, Frostvite would have had to intentionally aim lower to attempt a hit. This fact, combined with his readied position for such a jump, made dodging the beam an easy feat. He actually zoomed through the air in an arc, propelling himself with his energy so that he would come down on top of where Frostvite was currently standing at full speed. He would aim a stomp with both feet to land on top of his target.
If he hit, this would likely mean Frostvite was flattened onto the floor and now temporarily trapped underneath Gelid. Whether he hit or not, though, he would begin gathering his energy into his left palm as he was preparing a basic energy wave. He would not fire it just yet, though. He was going to play his remaining cards all in one go and hope it was enough to put his enemy down for the count.

Frosvite's short beam was aimed at Gelid's chest, proving the crouch to be quite an effective feat to give more time to dodge. However, that never really changed the fact the opposing Changeling managed to easily dodge the psych beam by jumping up and then coming in on an attack. A direct attack, while at it. The weakened Death Beam hit the wall behind Gelid's previous location and made a small hole in it, exploding very slightly in a quiet voice. The crack in it was still heard though. Needless to say, the orange alien did not expect his enemy to attack him from the air, of all places - which was the perfect position to give him the upper hand in a surprise attack: after all, using his Ki to speed up his falling speed like that easily gives Frosvite the opportunity to hit.
But the major problem was that the fear upon the lizardman once again hit him and he trembled slightly, thinking of what sort of move would be best to use against a rocketing opponent. He himself knew that if he's hit by this much force he will easily be squashed, all the more reason his fear should kick in that effectively. Frosvite wanted to scream but instead gulped, keeping a close watch on his partner in the battle as he propelled himself down, coming in for a squashing stomp. Closing his eyes, Frosvite made a jump, taking the fight into the air again right before being squashed. He jumped backwards but mostly up, not using his Ki to fly this time but only to hover when the momentum of his jump ceases.
"(I can't do it. I can't do it. I can't do it. I can't do it. I can't do it. I can't do it. I can't do it. I can't do it. I can't do it. I can't do it. I can't...)" The repetitive thought ran through the alien's head as he opened his eyes again to take a look at the ring. Luckily, from the force of such a forceful rocket, Gelid would require some time to stop his own speed before changing direction at once. That kind of sharp movement is impossible with that much power. It's luck if the alien didn't break the floor tiles upon the stomp if at all.

As Frostvite jumped up and narrowly avoided the smashing blow, Gelid's eyes never left his target. He slammed into the tiles of the arena with great force, crushing a few feet in diameter around his landing place into a crater that was a foot deep. He was down on one knee in the crater, looking up where he expected his foe to be. The moment he'd landed, as he had planned, he began charging up his energy for a strong wave in one hand. Just as the smoke had cleared enough for him to see exactly where Frostvite was above him, he thrust his arm upward and let loose the energy he'd gathered in a palm sized beam at his target.
Seeing as Frostvite had only jumped and then floated in place, he was still rather close. This would make evading the energy attack from Gelid a bit more difficult for him. Gelid's next action would be determined by whether or not this attack connected. He was planning to initiate hand to hand combat again, but he would initiate in a different manner depending on how this attack played out.
He's clearly afraid again. He must have realized how close he was to losing just then. Then again, if he'd made a counterattack instead of just floating there I wouldn't have been able to dodge after that attack. Not through normal means, anyway. He's got a lot of potential. I almost wonder if he realizes how strong he could be...

This is definitely going to be counted as one of Frosvite's worst performances ever in a fight. Sure, he had some times where he was scared half to death by his opponent and even ones where he was overpowered, but right now he definitely had a loss coming up if he wasn't going to go ahead and waste some energy on actually attacking his enemy, like he had done a moment ago. The thoughts of being incapable of advancing forward in his head, the orange alien had some hard time functioning like an actual fighter in a martial arts tournament which indeed cost him once and twice already, and if not much was going to be done surely there would be a third time.
And it sure came, but not in the shape of a direct hit like the rest of them. Frosvite, the scaredy cat he is, still has an enormous advantage over the majority of fighters in the tournament, perhaps if he was to use his full power all of them: his speed. Thanks to that trait and that trait alone he managed to avoid a direct impact from the upcoming wave. "(I can't do it. I can't do it. I can't do it. I can- OH MY GOD!!!)" His eyes widening, Frosvite managed to barely avoid the upcoming wave of energy by moving himself backwards and raising his head enough to actually look up, his chin facing the sky. The downside was, his chest was scrubbed by the wave - proving to be powerful and his chin was singed a little. The impact was enough though for the Changeling to understand what is he facing. From the shock though, fear and barely managing to look his opponent in the eye after returning, the orange lizardman didn't make any kind of offensive approach. His mind was still at complete fear.

Though this blast did not finish the fight, it provided a very big opening for Gelid to launch a heavy physical assault. Frostvite had to divert his gaze upward and move back to prevent the beam from smacking him in the face. As the beam flew by his foe Gelid now had the split second or two that he needed to hopefully catch Frostvite off guard. Using far more speed than what he was usually capable of, Gelid left a standing after image of himself as though he were gazing up at Frostvite to examine the damage his attack had done. This faux visage, accompanied with the beam's distraction and Gelid's speed, would likely allow Gelid to get behind his foe undetected.
He did not stop, though, and rushed at Frostvite with all his speed and strength, aiming to knee the changeling in the lower spine. If this proved successful Frostvite would likely be bent over Gelid's knee backwards. At this point Gelid would drop an elbow aimed for his foe's face as well as another aimed for his stomach. It was Gelid's hope that this would end the fight in a knockout.

Frosvite was pretty sure he's looking at the actual Gelid down there because of his angle of vision. He couldn't really pay attention to all details, and just staying there in the air basically made him a simple sitting duck. He didn't really consider the dangers of this situation and if his opponent eventually has the ability to fool him using images as well, which struck him really powerfully later on when Gelid's kick made direct contact with the alien's back. He then got what is he facing, depending on this very short match so far. "(I get it now.)" He thought to himself.
The next thing he knew was his opponent coming in for an elbow to the face and to his stomach, supposedly sending him down to the ring for a knockout by doing so. With the strength he could muster out in this feared form, allowing the pain to take over for the fear, Frosvite managed to successfully block the elbow aimed to his face. As for his stomach, that one got him good and sent him flying towards the ring. "(Unlike most Changelings, he's a physical fighter. This wave too, it wasn't as strong as I anticipated. He's physically as powerful as I am, perhaps a little weaker, but his Ki attacks are out in a gap.)" He thought to himself as his body was smashed against the ring, bouncing off of it from the force of the fall and only barely managing to flip himself while in the air from the bounce and stand up.
His intention was now to finish this match successfully, knowing what he's up against. Now that he knows what kind of fighter he's facing Frosvite is going to have a little easier time functioning in this fight. He looked up to his opponent, spreading open his arms and then closing them in on his body, making a crouch. The look in his eyes turned serious all of the sudden.

His hits were successful minus the elbow aimed for his foe's face. Gelid certainly hoped that his opponent would continue feeling both of the successful attacks for quite some time. He'd put all his force into those attacks. Of course, the elbow to the face had been the weakest of his attacks because his right arm was still hurting from that Death Beam before. Having started his all out assault, Gelid cannot afford to dawdle around. Either he runs out of steam or his opponent gets defeated in some way. Those were the only outcomes that registered in his mind now. Though Frostvite still seemed to have the advantage, Gelid's true strength had yet to surface. Then again, how could it in a fight where so few attacks have been landed by either side?
Gelid didn't wait for Frostvite to hit the floor and begin his recovery. When he could still see that his foe wasn't unconscious he rushed down to the arena floor and then zoomed over, inches above the tiles, headed for a flying kick aimed at the chest of his recovering foe.

Luckily for Frosvite, his speed comes in handy even in situations like these. His recovery was fast enough to manage to stand, only to see a kick coming at him from a flying opponent against the tiles. With no time at all, he had to think up of a good enough plan to counterattack just before actually dieing of fear and stress. He already made this move twice, now it was finally time to initiate it. Gathering his courage but still trembling heavily, Frosvite awaited his opponent to arrive with the kick aimed at the chest, taking an impact from it - but not necessarily on the chest but more like on his stretched out arms and hand. His plan was already intact as soon as the opponent came crashing towards his palm.
His finisher attack was finally going to make a debut. They were considerably far from the ring thus a little usage of the enemy's power could not hurt. "Jet Shaver!!" He shouted as soon as his opponent touched his palm and the gigantic wave of Ki was let out that instant. His face turning serious as the attack name was out, the enormous purple wave of Ki with white energy leftovers boasted off of it was fired at the opponent's body, ensuring no dodge was coming as the size of the thing alone was probably big enough to cover the entire crowd's seats in size. Frosvite wanted to end this with this attack, aiming for a ring out but accepting a knockout as well.

Gelid had practically no time at all to dodge. The wide energy wave slammed into him completely, hitting his entire front side. The shear power of the wave was far beyond anything Gelid could have anticipated. This attack was certainly not something he expected from his opponent. The beam tore across the arena, pushing him through the air towards the stands. Though not lightening fast, the beam wasn't slow either. If Gelid didn't do something quickly he'd be smashed between the beam and the stadium wall. Not only would that be a ring out for sure, but it'd be incredibly painful.
With as much strength as he could muster in this state, he opened his left palm and launched a beam to his left side, using it as a means of propulsion to get himself off of the purple wave. He slid across the forefront of the wave for a few seconds, barely escaping being crushed by it and the wall. He was breathing heavily with bruises and burns evident all over his front side. One eye wincing from the pain, Gelid smirked at his opponent. He knew without a doubt that this fight was finished. He'd spent too much of his energy to be able to combat something like that, and he knew that Frostvite had barely used any energy before this point by comparison.
Floating back down to the half destroyed arena tiles, Gelid landed shakily. "I enjoyed our fight. Looks like you win this one. I submit." And with that the battle was definitively concluded. Gelid was exhausted and battered. He was extremely impressed with the last attack his foe used. Perhaps when they'd rested a bit he would confront this fighter and ask him a few questions. For now, though, he needed to rest. Without another word he turned from the match and hopped down to the grass outside the arena. If there was any doubt about his surrender before, it was just put to rest with him setting foot on the grass around the arena.

The wave almost completely obliterated the tiles in the way, leaving only a few still on the floor itself. His most powerful attack, the one he considers his finisher move, in his mind was going to send Gelid out of the ring in a way where his shape will basically be marked on the walls before he falls out of the ring, but he really, really hoped his opponent can hop out of the wave's range so he won't fall unconsciousness. As much as he wanted to win and as serious as he was, Frosvite's ideals were not going to be broken just because of some stupid match. His opponent went for a few killing strikes there too, his final attack should only bring more attention to the fight and to his fighting style. The bad side was, Gelid would understand by now that the Ki signature, the moves, the tail and the color of the aura all match: Frosvite was indeed an alien.
As soon as his opponent managed to escape the giant wave's area, the orange lizardman was at ease. As soon as his opponent forfeited the match, the orange lizardman could think he's going to heaven (or hell) by now. He fell down to his knees with his face to the skies, head spinning all over and almost losing consciousness himself. "W-Wow... Y-Yes, it was f-fun... Aha, ahaha..." He said silently after Gelid jumped out of the ring. Any second now he could have submitted to his pain, exhaustion and above all - stress and fear. It's a good thing he won, but doubtfully he could go through something as stressing and painful like that again, so he thought before his mind crashed into repetitive sentences that make no sense.

"Just amazing ladies and gentlemen!! While Gelid keeps attacking, the other one just runs away!! How will this fight end!?" Obviously over excited at watching this match, the announcer kept on with his constant descriptions of exaggerated moves regarding the two fighters. The fight soon came to its end with an enormous flash, nearly destroying the entire ring. "Gyaahh!!" He shouted, covering his head at the sight of the enormous wave. When the flash finally ended, he slowly raised himself, using the desk for help. His hair all messed up and his sunglasses sloping a little to the right and diagonally, he raised his microphone still a little shaking. "T-T-That's the end of that!! With a give up, it's definite the flashy match comes to an end with contestant Frosvite's win!! Now, if someone could please take him off the ring while I go regain my breath!!" He claimed, trying to make his way to the bathroom without anybody seeing the wet area in the center of his waist.
