Lucas watched the other human fly off, obscurely miffed that he couldn't yet do that. Flight represented a tactical advantage that no amount of pure strength would quite overcome - a great deal of luck was necessary to overcome aerial domination.
Also he was going to have to walk the long way down. It wasn't necessarily the most informative encounter that Lucas had ever had but, in its own way, interesting nonetheless.
