Gladiolas Ixia vs. Son Gohan

She was surprised yet disappointed at the same time that she was able to take down her opponent so quickly. Since this was a tournament, she thought she would have a tougher opponent in the first round but, sadly, it was someone who disappointed and didn't surprise her that much. Though, the cloning part was intriguing. Anyways, her next opponent was someone named Son Gohan; she hoped that this opponent doesn't disappoint her like the last one.

She walked away from the fighter's waiting area and on to the arena floor. She tilted her head to the side slightly; let's see who this Son Gohan person is.

Gohan stepped onto the stadium, a fierce expression on his face. He was now faced with Yamcha's killer, someone he had failed to beat back at the North Pole due to the..interruption. The young man had already taken down Vegeta and doubted this person was stronger than the saiyan prince. However, she had dispatched of Yamcha, who was a lot stronger than Gohan, rather easily. Kneeling down and extending his left leg to the side while resting his hands on his right knee cap, Gohan let out an audible grunt before stretching his right leg. "...So, you're the woman that killed Yamcha, right?" he muttered rather calmly.

After he finished his stretched, the orange clad fighter stood up and dropped into his stance.

The crowd was roaring and he was smiling as always when it came to standing in the middle of the tournament ring. "LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, THANK YOU FOR COMING!! On today's round of the 24th Tenkaichi Budokai we have, featuring in the fourth match, your alien mistress with vines and scythes ready for action, ixia!!" He paused to allow the crowd to applause and roar for her. The booing was unwanted but unavoidable. "And her opponent, the son of son goku himself, son gohan!!" Clapping to himself the announcer skipped his way to his seat behind the announcer's table, grinning widely as always. The crowd's boos were reduced since both fighters' matches thus even more bliss was filling him. The announcer took out the hammer and smacked it against the ring side bell. "BEGIN!"

She blinked a couple of times at her opponent; another fighter in an orange gi? Where the heck are they coming from? First one was at the North Po--Oh yea! That's where she saw that orange gi! Okay, so, first one was at the North Pole, then the next one was a bald man and now, it's a fighter that somewhat resembles the first fighter she saw and fought -- and killed -- in the North Pole. This will be interesting and hopefully this one doesn't disappoint her.

"Hope you can keep me entertained!" She smiled and giggled at Gohan as she heard the bell. She quickly disappeared and reappeared behind him. In a flash of black and red, one of her vines darted out and attempted to deliver a downwards strike from his right shoulder area down to the lower right area of his lower back. The wound received would not be too deep but, just enough for blood to be shed.

He stared at the woman, she had killed Yamcha he was mad now another one of his friends dead. He was tired of all the death of his family and friends, his eyes sharply looked at the woman the killing intent killing the air, he would not play with this girl she would pay for what she had done. As the girl appeared to vanish he sighed, the clear choice of the attack would be from behind as he lowered his body down before firing a small ki blast with his left hand placed on the ground sliding back quickly across the ground avoiding the attack and now behind the girl.

" That was far to predictable girl, I will kill you for slaying Yamcha you piece of filth. "

He was now about fifty feet behind the girl as he began to charge a ball of light in his hands. Yes he would see just what this girl could do, as it began to expand and become brighter many spectators staring in awe.

" KA....ME...HA...ME... HAAAA "

Suddenly a large blinding flash filled the area as the beam quickly rushed toward the girl. His feet planting hard into the ground to prevent him from sliding back he wondered would she avoid this attack, if she did he would have quite the fight most likely. He had to get revenge for Yamcha his face showed how serious he really was. He kept a sharp eye on the girl if she tried her little vanishing act he would simply have to avoid her again, how could Yamcha lose to this girl. Why were all his friends dying like weaklings, this was simply the worst, everyone was dying so easily.

[Ixia]

Her blade cut nothing but, air. So, he dodged huh? Well, that's okay since this match just started. Looking to the ground, she noticed her shadow was extending across the arena floor. She turned around and saw a a beam of ki rushing towards. Reacting as quickly as possible, she disappeared from her spot and reappeared in the air. As the beam and its light died down, she floated down to the arena, two meters away from Gohan. She smiled at the damage that was caused. How destructive.

She laughed at his remark earlier and then smiled. "Piece of filth? What a gentleman!" She stared at her opponent and laughed once more. "Hasn't your mother or father taught you not to insult women?" She continued to smile towards him. Changing her stance and putting her vines put a certain angle, she disappeared once again. This time it wasn't an Afterimage technique but, the Blue Hurricane technique.

As she went around Gohan using the Blue Hurricane technique, her blades were aimed at his skin, hoping to rip and tear through it like what she did to her first opponent.

She talked of respect but did she show respect when she killed Yamcha, no he was tired of these evil beings ruling earth. He would make her suffer greatly for what she had done to Yamcha and most likely countless other humans. As she seemed to vanish he could feel the raw speed she was moving, as he turned toward her noticing the vine flying right toward him he had almost no time to react as several of the vines managed to strike his right leg, arm and part of his chest however he was filled with rage she would suffer. His hands gripping the vines it would be time to show her just what true anger and hatred for these evil creatures could do.

He fiercely Pulled her toward him as hard as he could as he pulled the vine hard his foot kicked viciously upward trying to knock her into the air as he rushed into the air with her. His hands still on the vines he pulled her once again close in the air using the vines as a sort of volley striking her with vicious blows while pulling her back into his range. As the vicious hits continued he finally let go with his last kick driving her hard toward the ground. As he began to charge another Kamehameha this one however seemed much much larger, the sky began to fill with a bright light as he changed his attack.

" KA...ME...HA...ME...HAAAAAAAAAAAA. "

The sudden huge surge of energy aimed straight down as many spectators wondered if they would die from the attack. The girl certainly would notice this attack though, with him having pulled her into his attacks using his brute strength and volleying her he was unsure if she was struck with the attacks. His anger was high now, he hated her, she killed Yamcha he would send her to the afterlife for what she had done.

[Ixia]

Ixia gasped she felt her vines being tugged harshly and felt herself be pulled towards her opponent. As she came closer to Gohan, she felt a strong kick to her stomach and the air in her lungs escaped her lips with a cough. She found herself knocked into the air and felt herself suddenly pulled by her vines again. Feeling herself being hit viciously, she tried to prevent herself from crying out. Blow after blow, she tried to dodge each one but, with her vines in her opponent's grasp, she couldn't do much but just try to block each one. She gasped once again as she was harshly kicked downwards towards the arena.

As she was falling, she saw a familiar light -- no, she was not dying -- being charged in Gohan's hands -- that ki blast from earlier. It was coming at her quickly and it was larger than before. She had to react fast otherwise she would die. Before the Kamehameha blast reached her, Ixia used the Afterimage technique to disappear from her spot and reappear a few meters away from Gohan.

When she reappeared, the blows she received from him earlier were taking their tolls. She staggered as she floated and her vision was slowly consumed by darkness. This was a familiar sensation; as she recalled back on her home planet Crescere, she trained with the Queen and lost like this -- blow after blow and blast after blast, she passed out in the end. Cussing under her breath with her eyes closing slowly, she fell towards the arena a thud but, she didn't die. She wanted to continue the fight but, her body wouldn't let her.

As the battle raged the announcers eyes couldn't believe the insanity. However, as all good things must, the battle was coming to an end. As Ixia fell to the arena floor the announcer made his way into the ring. "Oh my goodness ladies and gentlemen! This battle looks like it may be all over... One! Two! Three!....

The announcer began the count and as the crowd watched one he made his way to the end. "Nine! TEN! That's it folks! This fight is all over! Gladiolas Ixia is unable to continue the fight and has fallen unconscious! The winner by knock out is none other than Son Gohan!!!" With that the medics came in and took the woman away to take care of her injuries and the announcer made his way back to his seat to prepare for the next round.
