His intense black eyes are often wide with wonder or excitement, and his thick eyebrows rise to express his mirth. He does not often wear a scowl, opting instead to smile frequently and preserve the additional energy for training and fighting. Still, he is just as fit as any other Saiyan. He is possessed of a lean, dense form, built for speed while still managing to pack in incredible power. He is about 5'9" tall, but his spiky, gravity-defying black hair adds about five inches to his height. A consummate martial artist, Goku tends to dress only in whatever clothing he receives from the person he considers to be his master at any given time. He is most often seen in the orange gi of the Turtle School of Martial Arts along with a blue sash, but after completing his training with King Kai, the symbol on the back of his shirt was altered to that which his new master wears. He also wears weighted clothing—a pair of boots, an undershirt, and a pair of wristbands, all blue in color—to increase the fruits of his training. During peacetime, however, Goku has been known to wear more casual attire, especially if he intends to spend time interacting with civilians. Training Gear—Goku's wristbands, undershirt, and boots are lined with an extra-heavy material. This weighted clothing slows down his movements and lowers his power level, but it also allows him to grow stronger faster due to the increased workout his muscles get. He can access his full potential by removing the weights. Four-Star Dragon Ball—A magical item capable of summoning a wish-granting dragon when gathered together with the other six Dragon Balls, the Four-Star Dragon Ball is special to Goku because it was left to him by his adoptive grandfather. He is willing to part with it when the Dragon Balls are needed, but he keeps it in his possession whenever he is able. (Currently hidden somewhere on Earth.) TECHNIQUES: Flight After Image Ki Blast Ki Sense Masking Explosive Wave Saiyan Soul SIGNATURE MOVES: Super Energy Wave Volley—A basic attack in which Goku fires a continuous string of explosive ki blasts from his hands at a rapid pace. Each blast is relatively weak on its own, but they can deal significant damage to an enemy who is struck by many of them. Kamehameha Wave—The signature technique of the Turtle School of Martial Arts. After drawing back his hands and collecting a sphere of blue ki around them, Goku thrusts them forward to unleash a highly destructive blast. This technique is known to vary in power based on how much energy is put into it; it can destroy a car at its weakest and level mountains at higher levels. Goku has developed such variations on the technique as firing it from his feet and using it to make spheres of blue energy to be fired at will. Dragon Fist—This is the only technique that Goku developed entirely on his own. He executes it by flying through the air at an airborne (or gigantic) opponent and thrusting his fist at them. The power he puts into this assault and the velocity behind it is enough to tear a hole in its target, but if that isn't enough, he can create a large golden dragon from his ki to constrict (and disintegrate) or consume the target for good measure. Spirit Bomb—This is a technique that Goku has learned during his time training with King Kai. It doesn't use his own ki, instead calling for him to collect energy from any available lifeforms—plants, animals, and ideally, sentient beings—into a concentrated sphere of blue energy. The range of the technique is potentially limitless, and the more energy gathered, the larger the sphere grows. When thrown, it consumes its target and follows up with an explosion powerful enough to completely destroy nearly any foe. The only stipulation is that it will not harm anyone with a heart of pure goodness, and only one possessed of such a heart can use it. Kaio-ken—Another technique Goku learned from King Kai, and thus far, he has proved himself to be the only being capable of using it. When activated, he is surrounded by a red aura that doubles his overall power level for several seconds at a time. Depending on the factor he calls out, however, he can push the technique beyond this limit. Goku has been able to get up to x25, but he theorizes that he would max out at x20 if he were still alive; the technique takes a heavy toll on his body, and it is unlikely that his mortal form could take as much stress as he can while dead.
