He considers himself a vigilante. APPEARANCE: First off, Vanto is an extremely handsome man, standing at 5'5", and weighing in at 133 lbs. Vanto has spiked black hair, his choppy bangs dropping over his forehead. His hair resembled a rooster's kiester, the back protruding out in defined spikes while the rest of his hair frames his oval head neatly. His eyes are a deep shade of onyx, so black to the point where the pupil is nearly invisible. His skin is a bit on the pale side, but luckily, not too pale, and his figure is that of a semi-muscular athlete. After his fight with Yoshiro Mifune, Vanto opted for a change of clothes. The teen now wears a plain navy blue headband around his forehead, which forcibly parts his hair. Instead of his black v-neck shirt, Vanto now wears a black high-collar shirt with the kanji for brave (勁) on the back in white, contrasting brightly. Vanto now wears gray shorts, and instead of bandages around his arms, he sports professionally fighting gauze/tape. The young man still wears black combat boots, but these are Capsule Corp edition. LIKES: Vanto enjoys training. He yearns to get stronger, and wills himself to become strong enough to over throw Dr. Hypno. He enjoys doing good, having a strong sense of justice. Vanto greatly enjoys learning and practicing martial arts. Due to him being a fighter, and preparing himself for battle, he avidly exercises. Van loves sushi, alot. DISLIKES: He has a strong dislike for Frieza and Dr.Hypno, and every other thing that does injustice. He hates war with a passion. Van dislikes the dictatorship he and his fellow people are under. Van knows of the Capsule Corp's involvement with Frieza, and believes that the city could have retaliated already if they were given the weapons that the head of CC gives to Freiza. He has a strong disdain for them, but he understands where they're coming from. Van often feels useless, and hates not being able to help. Vanto dislike Hercule with a burning passion. The teen also dislikes Bulla Briefs. Though he won't talk to her anymore, Vanto would still help her if her life was in danger. PERSONALITY: STRENGTHS: This warrior is extremely fast, his speed being his highest stat. Another traits about Vanto is his strength. Though he isn't the strongest human around, he is one of the stronger ones and a force to be reckoned with. His eyesight in his left eye is amazing, being able to spot someone or something from a couple paces away. Vanto is an honest, honest boy. He is a loyal friend, although he doesn't show it. He will throw his life down on the line for his friends in an instant. WEAKNESSES: His eye sight in his right eye is extremely bad, borderline blind. His ki control has gotten better but isn't on par with professionals, due to his informal training (teaching himself) and young age. This results in him either overpowering his attacks, draining an unnecessary amount of ki or him not putting enough energy into an attack to perform it. Sometimes, Vanto is a bit too brutal when it comes to honesty. He is too brash at times, often pushing off other's opinions. Vanto is stubborn, point blank. WEAPONS / PERSONAL ITEMS: Chokuto; - A long straight sword with a gold/black scabbard. Vanto keeps this sword in a capsule, discreetly having it on him at all times. Destroyed while rescuing slaves from South City Pendant - His mother's pendant. A simple string with a green jewel hanging from it, he wears it at all times. Partly because he wants to, and partly because his mother urges him to. Weighted Clothes TECHNIQUES: Ki Sense Flight Masking Ki Blast SIGNATURE MOVES: Fulmen Surge: A powerful technique, due to its striking force and piercing power. The user creates this technique by channeling bio-electricity (through his ki) to his left hand, blue electric energy surrounding his/her palm. This technique takes no specific shape, rather appearing as electricity converging around the hand. The technique requires immense ki control and without that, the user cannot maintain the attack long. The main use of this attack is during a close-combat, for a powerful and fatal strike. Vanto was about two years after the events that shaped the world into what is today, took place. This boy always had interest in the martial arts, often watching the old recordings of the Tenkaichi Budokai, and attempting to mimic what he saw on the television. Vanto is the son of a Capsule Corp. Executive, and a Doctor, that being said, he was well off before Dr. Hypno arrived.

Vanto grew up in a household of scared people, his parents being afraid to go to work, and afraid that they might be killed by the Overlord Frieza any moment of their lives. Vanto didn't want to keep living with this, so from the age seven to his current age, he did research on the force known as Ki, the events at the Tenkaichi Budokai inspiring him to learn the techniques. After watching Son Goku's performance in the tournament, and even growing to look up to the boy/man, he trained himself for years.

The Boy, The Girl and The Alien - Arc 1

Vanto has been known to train himself to his limits and then some. During his daily training routine at Mt. Paozu, after pushing him so far, the human encountered a young girl by the name of Bulla. Bulla and Vanto had met many times previous, but due to her being his father's boss' daughter, the teen decided to not pay much attention. Now, the boy was forced to pay attention to her. Bulla proved to be exactly what Vanto suspected her to be, a brat. But something was so compelling about her, the black haired boy was completely entranced by her beauty.

While conversing with Bulla, the two were approached by a bandit who claimed to be a Lizardman. Vanto engaged in a short fight with the theif, in an effort to protect both himself and Bulla and impress the girl. He was then pulled back by the blue-haired beauty, Bulla telling Vanto that the bandit was stronger than him. Moments later, after being told to by Bulla (in exchange for zenni and capsules), the bandit revealed himself to be a changeling called Frosvite. To make things worst, Frosvite was related to Frieza! This completely alarmed Vanto but Bulla remained calm throughout the entire situation. After hearing Frosvite's backstory, Vanto's disdain turned to pity and the boy truly felt sorry. It was this moment the three of felt connected, forming the foundation of a hopefully life-long bond. Feeling that the three of them should train together, Vanto was going to voice these thoughts, but Frosvite flew off, leaving the two humans there abruptly.

Deciding to take advantage of the moment, Vanto then began to flirt with Bulla. After an intimate moment and being shut down by the girl, Vanto dismissed himself from the area, deciding to leave Bulla to continue to do whatever she was doing that brought her to Mt. Paozu in the first place. Although the kid hid it for the most part, he was hurt by Bulla's comment. But he had to keep it cool around her, after all; Vanto risked his life for her, a girl, without minutes of meeting, who he had strong feelings for.

Being so fatigued from the fight and staying out at Mt. Paozu for so long, Vanto decided to take a week off from training. His body was still sore and as much as he wanted to get stronger, the raven-haired teen needed time to recuperate. His mother, not liking to see her son sit down in the house all day, took him with her to the organic food market for some mother-son bonding. It was during this time, Vanto encountered Frosvite once again...

Free The Slaves - Arc 2

Several days after meeting back up Frosvite, Vanto decides that he needs to deal a powerful blow to Frieza. Knowing that he was too weak, Vanto decided to go a more conventional way: take down one of Frieza's slave camps.

It was large than expected. So Vanto would have to operate in phases, taking and freeing a section of slaves at a time. All was going well. Vanto successfully took a platoon of Frieza's crownies and freed over two-hundred slaves. Such a feat for a young boy like himself but it couldn't be easy. While transporting the slaves and conversing with one the slaves known as Citole, their ship was attacked, exploding and leaving only Vanto and Citole as survivors. It turned out that his attacker was a furry, a swordsman apparently working for Frieza.

Quickly dispatching the furry with a flurry of ki blasts, Vanto and Citole escaped. Now,, the two head to West City with a stolen scouter, Citole having revealed himself to be Frieza's personal healer and an important asset. Now the two raced against time, having to go Vanto's home first and then to Capsule Corporation to dismantle the scouter and learn any information they can.

Vanto headed back home with the namekian, leading the green alien into his room and extracting information. It was there he learned of the existence of the dragon balls. After learning of the dragon balls and the events of that day taking their toll on the young men's bodies, the two decided to call it a night.

The next day, wanting just a day to relax, Vanto journeyed to downtown West City. There he met Akeuyota, a person who claimed to be a saiyan, an elite alien warrior race. After a brief and awkward introduction, the two had a spar and there Vanto learned of the saiyan's true might.

The day after that, Vanto decided it would be time to find out what information the scouter held. Flying off to Capsule Corporation, the teen decided to meet up with the female who had captured his heart weeks earlier: Bulla Briefs. Unfortunately, Bulla was unable to disable the scouter and decided to crush it under her heels, right along with Vanto's hopes. It was then she informed the teen of the events at the North Pole and in turn, Vanto told her of the dragon balls.

It turned out she already knew. Bulla and Vanto devised a plan to gather the mystical objects. However, Bulla didn't know there were no set of dragon balls on Earth and Vanto still doesn't know that he knows the only person who can create a new set...
