”Oh, the weather outside is frightful,
But the fire is so delightful,
And since we've no place to go,
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.”
But the fire is so delightful,
And since we've no place to go,
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.”
Singing 'let it snow' as he traveled through the frozen fields of the north pole, seem to bring his spirits soaring. See, today was one of the greatest days of his life. Today was the day Roy thought he was going to meet Santa Claus. Of course it was a lie. A lie told to him by his own mother, a way to trick him into going to the north pole. She was informed of a 'Machine' that Dr.Hypnos was looking for. Being physically ill, she wasn't able to make the journey up north to join the others in the fight to prevent the good Doctor from getting his hands on it. Instead she sent her son, Roy. A task he was all too willing to quickly turn down. That was until she thought of the idea of telling him that Santa Claus hid a special machine up their that will not only summon him, but give him any present he wanted. Something that peeked his very interest.
”It doesn't show signs of stopping,
And I brought some corn for popping;
The lights are turned way down low,
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.”
And I brought some corn for popping;
The lights are turned way down low,
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.”
Roy merrily trotted through the frozen wasteland quickly, wondering around aimlessly trying his best to find this machine. In light of this special occasion, he decided to dress up like his icon. He wore a bright red jacket similar to old Saint Nick, and of course his trademark hat. Slapped over his right shoulder was a large brown bag he carried with him to simulate the the icon. Also, to help him load the goods of the many presents he would receive from the machine.
“Hmph,” He suddenly stopped in his tracks gazing off into the distance, “Look like other people are here too.”
He stood in silence gazing off into the frozen isle. He didn't know why they were here, but he could only guess that they where looking for this machine too. Something, his mother had also told him to watch out for. The others would try to take the machine by force and use it for their own selfish ambition. This was not something he would sit ideally by and let happen. However, fortune seemed to be on his side today. Battles were being fought all across the frozen field, a sign showing him that he is not alone in this fight against the evils that threaten this holiday. Though their number are few, they holiday spirit was strong. Something that could never be defeated.
“Hold on guys. I'll find this thing before they do and make sure it doesn't fall into the wrong hands.” Without wasting another second. Roy bolted deeper into the north pole like a bat out of hell, zig zagging across the fields in every direction. It was a fools hope that he would stumble upon this thing, but yet again he might have been the right fool to find it all along.
”When we finally say good night,
How I'll hate going out in the storm;
But if you really hold me tight,
All the way home I'll be warm.”
“The fire is slowly dying,
And, my dear, we're still good-bye-ing,
But as long as you love me so.
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.”

“The fire is slowly dying,

"I'm coming Santa Claus!!!"
