She stood by her window, waiting.
To the weeping wife, all was relatively still and unmoving. She did not hear the sound of day, nor the life that flittered beyond the trees, only the sensation of wet cheeks.
She couldn’t even hear the footsteps of a gentle, caring soul; though had she been able to she would have temporarily snapped out of her reverie to wipe away the tears that plagued her pale, moon-like complexion, but her house remained just the same – empty. By now her husband would have entered the room with his infamous muddy shoes, shoes that would have already piled up a messy trail of mud on the polished floor. She probably would have yelled at him, scolded him for dirtying the premises like she hadn’t been cleaning the whole day. But, oh, if she could take it all back . . . she would. Her watery eyes were shut tightly, immaculate teeth of white pressed down on a clean suit that Goku once wore for training, for there she stood hugging it tightly to her chest – head lowered. And for a moment, her heart stopped. She had left the door open! She didn't bother, of course. She stubbornly believed her home was the safest in the world yet, in spite of what happened, this disaster. "Why couldn't you have just stayed home! You'd still be alive! Gohan wouldn't have to miss you because you'd still be here, with me! Ugh!" she hissed, looking down at the suit as more tears blurred her vision.
With a shrill cry of frustration, the once upon a time princess threw it against the wall with a look of anger on her face. Her motions were so swift and blessed with an unnecessary kind of force that her hair had tumbled down from her usual high bun and dressed her shoulders in a swirl of black.
Realizing what she had done, she neared Goku's poor fighting suit with an apologetic expression. "You did die doing what you loved best." She said, knowing her words could not bring her comfort. She missed her husband very, very much. Picking it up from the floor, she turned on her feet . . .
Only to see a face she hadn't seen in such a while.
"Krillin?"
OOC; The door was open so maybe he was just there, looking. XP

Krillin hadn't been over to Goku's house in sometime. It had been years since he'd been there and since the death of his old friend he found even more of a reason to avoid the place and the memories that would no doubt cause him to hurt deep down. However, today wasn't like most. Things were happening an Krillin just felt the urge to go over and talk with Chi-Chi. It was strange really, since he usually avoided the woman like the plague, but since they'd both known Goku for an insane amount of years it seemed only the logical choice in the end. He flew low and fast as he made his way over and when he arrived he saw the door open and heard Chi-Chi crying and throwing things around.
He winced as he creeped closer to the open door and peered inside, staring at the wife of his former training partner and friend. He hated seeing her like this but he knew that even after all this time that kind of hurt could never truly vanish. It appeared that she'd come across Goku's old clothes and as he stood in front of the door he saw he spot him. She spoke his name in a surprised tone, not what he expected to say the least, but he'd accept it. He smiled as lightly as he could and nodded. "Hey Chi-Chi... I couldn't help it... Felt like I needed to come by and see how you were doing."
With that he looked around and shrugged. "I hope you don't mind..." He tried to sound as unassuming and polite as possible so as not to draw the wrath and fury of the woman. He didn't want her to feel like he had pity for her but instead wanted her to see him as just a friend who wanted to come over for a talk and make sure she was doing alright. Hopefully things wouldn't explode, but he wasn't getting his hopes up just yet.
