"Man, where am I?" a young teen remarked aloud as he wandered through the lush green forests that covered Mt. Paozu and it's surrounding area. Taking a brief stop in the middle of the woodlands, he scratched his head and set his bag down beside him before folding his arms across his chest. He'd left North City a few days ago, hadn't he? He'd intended to go to West City, but somehow he found himself taking a detour and before he knew it, he was in a very unfamiliar area. Nothing really stood out in his memory, so he took a guess that he'd gone far, far off the mark. Shaking his head, he looked up at the gap in the trees above him and stared at the sky. Maybe he should fly? Flying could help. Maybe he'd fly. But then a growl escaped him.
"I'm too hungry to fly..." he muttered, frowning as he patted his stomach. Reaching down for his bag again, he opened it up and reached into it, only to find he'd depleted the last of his food last night. He frowned again, closing the bag. He needed some food. Although, now that he thought about it, this was a forest wasn't it? There had to be food - if not berries, then wildlife! He smirked, satisfied with his own genius. Now all he had to do was lie in wait for an animal to pass by. All life possessed ki signatures, didn't they? So deciding to figure out where his next meal was, he let his ki senses reach outwards, attempting to locate something. That was when he felt it - a presence nearby! Grabbing his bag, he decided to make a run for it, to see what was there and if it could be eaten!
'Can't wait! Finally get to eat!' he thought to himself as he ran beneath the trees, weaving in and out of the woodlands as he approached the ki signature, thinking it a wild animal, when in truth it was something much more...

Kelvin Tarjek was wandering through the trees around Mt. Paozu. He was still on his mission for his "employer" Turles, for the time being, scouting for people to help fight Frieza. Kelvin decided to take a break for a bit and decided to catch some food. He smirked and looked around and didnt see much. "Hmmm, what to do for food?" He said to himself as he then heard a noise coming form a bush. He smirked and pulled out one of his plasma guns and aimed it towards the bush. Then a medium sized Boar made itswa out and rushed towards Kelvin. Kelvin smirked and shot it down and klled it.
Kelvin walked over to the dead boar and smirked. "Dinner." He said to himself as he dragged it over to a clearing. Kelvin then got some sticks and made a fire. He then stabbed his Sword through the boar and rigged it so the boar would cook over the fire. Kelvin smirked and sat next to it watching. As his food cooked he smirked as he heard another noise coming towards him, but sounded liek someone or something on two feet. He quickly got to his feet and pulled out his plasma gun and hid behind a tree.
Kelvin then watched as a kid walked through the bushes. Kelvin smirked and put the plasma gun to the back of his head. "Who are you?" Kelvin said as the kid didnt look very harmful, so he then put his gun away. "Shouldnt you be in school or something kid, and not out here?" Kelvin said as he went back to his fire and pulled a piece of boar off and started to eat it.

He was so close! There was definitely something nearby! He grinned excitedly as he ran towards the location, following his senses. He could smell the cooking meat as he ran closer and closer to his destination! The smell was oh so enticing, luring him in like a siren's call. His mouth watered as he imagined the delicious taste - with the hunger he felt, anything would taste delicious at this point! Of course, had Kintoki been a little more aware and less hungry, he might have been quick to question why he could smell cooking meat in the middle of an abandoned forest. Alas, the cunning and intelligence Kintoki normally had was ignored in favor of the images in his head of devouring a great feast. Stepping out through the bushes, he caught sight of a boar over a fire, bringing a grin to his face. Just in time for a man to put a gun to his head.
"Huh?" he questioned, a little bit caught off-guard as he looked behind to see the gun positioned at his head by an older man - someone who appeared to be middle-aged and bald, probably shaved. For a moment Kintoki stared at him, but then the old man began to speak up, wondering who Kintoki was and why a kid like him was out here and not in school or something. Kintoki flashed a smile, pointing a thumb towards himself as he prepared to introduce himself. "I'm Kintoki! A freelance bodyguard in training to be a great warrior!" he declared without a hint of irony, smiling to himself as he folded his arms. Looking up towards the bald man who had now taken his gun away, he proceeded to offer a handshake.
"So! I introduced myself, so can I have your name?" he remarked, looking up at the man with wide eyes. Someone else might have called him an idealist and a dreamer, but within those large orbs was a fierce determination that could tell a smarter man that he was serious, that he meant every word he said. After all, he really was training to be a strong warrior - to fight and one day take down the tyrant Dr. Hypnos was his dream, after all.

Kelvin couldnt help himself but to laugh, when the kid said he was a bodyguard in training. He finished what he was eating and then stared at the kid and smirked. "Your kidding me right? You are going to be a bodyguard? I havent heard a joke that good, in a long time. I bet you couldnt save yourself from catchin on fire, if you were swimmin in a lake." Kelvin grabed some more of the boar and ate it.
Kelvin then smirked at the kid. "Kelvin Tarjek. Freelance Assassin. Currently workin for Turles." He aid all the info that the kid could possibly ask for. He then thought that maybe the kid would be hungry, and Kelvin knew he wouldnt be eating all the boar. Kelvin then went and grabbed a big piece and handed it to the kid. "You can have this if your hungry." After that Kelvin went ofer to his stuff, and started to polish both of his plasma guns.
Kelvin looked up at the kid and smirked. "You never answered why you wernt in school and out here in the forest." He looked back down and finished polishing his guns and put them in their holsters under his suit jacket. He then got curious about what the boy's power level was, so he grabbed his scouter out of his brest pocket and put it on his right eye. He looked towards the kid as it read, just under 1000. He smirked a bit. "Maybe we could use him as a distraction or something?" he said to himself. He then took his scouter off and placed it back in his pocket.

"I'm not joking around! Maybe I'm still not as strong as I want to be yet, but I refuse to be anything less!" he declared, posing a little as though he were some superhero character in a comic. He didn't really feel offended by the man's comment though - he'd run into a fair few people who didn't think he was strong at all, but he was ready to show them anytime! He smiled, looking over to the older man as he began to introduce himself to Kintoki. His name was apparently Kelvin Tarjek and he was a freelance assassin. He laughed a little. Their jobs were similar yet different. Kintoki worked for anyone to protect them - Kelvin worked for anyone to kill others. Looking at Kelvin, he couldn't help but think this wouldn't be their only time crossing paths.
"You... You really mean it?" he spoke, grinning wide as he heard that the man was allowing him to have some of the boar. Barely able to contain his excitement he ripped off a large piece and began hungrily chewing through it, his huger very apparent. Tearing some of the flesh he chewed it roughly and thoroughly, taking a moment to bow to the freelance assassin in thanks. Gulping down his large bite, he sat himself down on the ground and crossed his legs beneath himself. "Thanks for the food! I owe ya one!" he remarked, only to stop and stare as the man took out some sort of device and held it up to his eye, whereupon it made a few beeping noises. A few seconds later he put it away, muttering something to himself.
"Huh? What was that? Were you recording something?" Kintoki asked, his eyes focused. However, the man had also asked him a question, so Kintoki decided to do the polite thing and answer. "Can't. It blew up years ago. 'Sides, no time for school! If I want to be a strong warrior, I can't be lying around doing school work!" he remarked, though he wouldn't deny at least part of it was his own insistence on not doing schoolwork in favor of relaxing and napping. He didn't feel like bothering with such annoying work all the time.
