It had been a long time since he had come to an actual city, and Tien was a little nervous about what he would find. Granted, there wasn't much left to this city, but still being around people was something that he was going to have to get used to again. Things had really become more primitive in this particular areas, which is why Tien had chosen to visit such a place. It was unlikely that he would run into any real trouble in a place that had gone through a literal war, and anything that did come up wouldn't be more than he could handle.
"Must find out what is going on."
In the past few days, Tien's meditation had been interrupted by power spikes, and he needed to know why they were occurring. It concerned him on so many levels to think that some of his friends might be in danger, and he would have been none the wiser. It was time for him to learn of what changes had happened since he had secluded himself to the mountains to hone his skills to combat the powers of those that were rising up. Of course, Tien knew that it was going to take more than just him to beat this foe, which is why he was seeking out his old comrades.
"I just hope that there are enough of them left to make this even possible."
It was the one major drawback of training in the mountains, and Tien should have realized that not everyone was going to stay in the exact same spots as they had when they had lost Goku. Now he was going to have to travel for a while to find Krillin and Yamcha, who were the only ones that he knew of who could possibly assist him in trying to defeat so many dangerous fighters like Frieza. Of course, there was only one thing that he knew to do when finding someone with his eyes didn't work.
Tien sat down with his back up against a wall and began trying to find the Ki of his former allies. It was a long shot, but he had nothing else to lose at this point except his life. Of course, that was on the line anyway since he had left the mountains.

Sounds of a powerful motor working were heard across the roads of Diablo Desert as a certain man enjoyed his trip on his machine. Gas filled (since last check), no bandits today, it was all just perfect and there was nothing that could break his relief at the moment. Everything was going according to plan, especially since all of the man's "to-do"s were already completed this morning. In this afternoon and soon to be sunset, there was nothing that could break his spirit. Of course, unless some kind of attack would break out, but it's not like any kind of missile or bullet could surprise him unless it was shot from close range, to which a bandit would have to get close to - which is impossible considering the speed, and the person's sense of hearing.
Soon the man found himself coming across the ruins of East City, previously one of the greater cities to feature Earth. It's a shame it was destroyed in that attack against Frieza, but what can you do about a powerful tyrant that just tried to dominate the city with power. Gustav all of the sudden happened to just run over a sharp rock which made all the riding a lot harder for him. "Ah, crap!!" He said, trying to maneuver through the ruins and the hidden roads although the hit his bike took. It was all, of course, futile, and Gustav soon found out he lost control of his precious bike Morgan, yet still not giving up on trying to ride this crazy road god just gave him.
As expected though, the bike made him fly away and land directly on his face on the road while the machine itself went on above Gustav and on to a certain identity sitting there with his eyes closed.
"Hey man, move outta the way!! Look out!!"
Gustav, with his Ki masked ever since beginning this ride, wanted to jump out and help this person but didn't really manage to get up on time to move the bike. But oh well, there is profit to all of this, for the bike is as good as gone either way and if the man won't move, maybe no one will notice. Though if this bald man is planning to lay a hand on Morgan, surely there won't be any forgiving. Why should he destroy someone else's belonging like that?

It seemed that his friends were masking their Ki on an efficient level as Tien was unable to pick up any traces of them. Of course, he should have figured that it was the case that they wouldn’t be exposing themselves to those who would want to harm them. It was going to make thing a lot more difficult on him, but at least he was thinking along the lines that they were dead or something. It would be a pretty bad situation if he were the only warrior on the planet that was left to stand against the monsters that were calling his planet home.
Even with his eyes closed, Tien could hear the distinct sound of a motorbike coming towards him, but he didn’t pay it any mind. Whoever was riding around out here would stop if they wanted to inquire to whom he was, and he was busy trying to figure out where his friends might go to train. There was Master Roshi’s place, Kami’s lookout, Korin’s tower, and a few more secluded spots among the world that could be ideal for such training. The questions were where he should start looking for them and what mode of transportation should he take. Flying didn’t seem like the best choice as he was trying to keep a low profile, but walking all that way would become tiresome.
His mind was brought back to the situation before him as someone told him move, and Tien opened his eyes to see a bike heading right for him. His instincts kicked in, and Tien kicked off the ground and was airborne as the bike crashed into where he had been earlier. If it had been one second later, then Tien might have gotten a few nasty bruises, but fortunately he wasn’t getting slow in his old age. He landed on the ground and looked over at the person who had been driving that contraption of death.
“I think that you may be in need of more training on how to operate that vehicle, or else you could learn to use your own two feet to get around.”
It was all that Tien thought he needed to say to someone who was incapable of knowing how to properly drive any sort of bike on such a rough road. If the man didn’t like his advice, then they could continue the conversation, but his own personal opinion of the man was that he lacked the intelligence to continue any sort of discussion for very long.

Well now, what do you know. It was good and all to watch the other man move out of the way before the bike came in crashing against him, but Gustav didn't like how things were going with his own bike. The man apparently was skilled in some way as making a dodge like that shouldn't be possible for regular humans like he knew them from his time serving in his country's army, but this guy seemed to be a little better than he first thought basically because the darker-skinned man had not much suspects about this guy. Things just turned out that way that he had to make a quick move or a machine will be squashing his face, and fortunately for that guy he did. As for the bike, the vehicle Gustav worked so hard to get, that was just unacceptable.
Gustav had no intentions of hurting this man nor did he have any intentions to lose control when coming across the ruins of East City but that's just what god threw in his face. Apparently he somehow recognized the face of the man he just recently crashed upon because of past activities around the world and in martial arts tournaments. He couldn't allow himself though to show even the slightest bit of information about the human only because it was quite easy to understand his cover will blow immediately if he did. And still, they couldn't have met on better terms, and if knowledge or memory actually serves Gustav correctly this man will not avoid from his debts. He should be an honorable person, this Tien Shinhan.
"Well man, that ain't right. Not my fault I ran over a spike, what do ya expect me to do about it? Now please, if you may, I ask to apologize for that rowdy bike of mine. Could you help me out with it please?"
He asked, soon coming closer to his precious bike and dragging it with both hands through the wheels before awaiting the fighter to come and help him. If he's correct, in his masked, covered state it should be easy to make it look like he's having trouble carrying the bike on his own and would end up having to get this person's help. The best part would be, lowering his Power Level beyond the normal range he set for himself could easily add for this small act. If things go right, Gustav can be having a new bond here.

Being cautious was the only course of action that Tien could take with this biker who didn’t seem angry by what he had said. Either this person lacked a temper of any kind, or there was some sort of training that revolved around controlling one’s emotions. He couldn’t sense any real distinctive Ki level coming from the man, but that didn’t mean much since even Tien could mask it when he needed to. The three eyed man had a strange feeling that there was more to this guy than he wanted to know, but until he found out what it was he couldn’t completely judge him.
Once the man spoke, Tien realized that his words had been harsher than they needed to have been, and even if his personal thoughts were that this man was some sort of incompetent fool Tien would be unable to leave him in the sorry state that he was in. He reluctantly walked over to where the bike had crashed so that he could assist the man in righting his bike, while also thinking of ways to get the man to lower his guard. There were quite a few of them at his disposal, but there was one that most people wouldn’t be used to on any sort of basis.
Telepathy was a neat trick that a few people could do on this planet, but Tien had a feeling that this man wasn’t such a person. If the biker was an experienced warrior, then he would have noted that Tien’s lips didn’t move when the three eyed man began communicating with him. Of course, a lack of acknowledgement about this fact didn’t mean that the man was aware of how Tien was speaking to him, but it would give him more ideas to ponder upon.
He was thinking of this as he went over to grab the opposite side of the bike in order to add in a small portion of his strength so that he wasn’t showing his full hand to this man before he got an idea of what kind of person he truly was. Tien hadn’t survived this long without being extremely careful of who he allowed into the circle of people that he called ‘friends’. “Chiaotzu would be very useful in this situation,” he muttered to himself as he ‘tried’ to lift the bike so that the man wouldn’t think of him as a bad person.

Gustav wanted to thank this man for helping him out and while usually he would do that, since it's basically a nice excuse to get to know this guy better he wouldn't and just keep on with lifting his own bike. He should know how it works, a respected general in the Red Ribbon Army undercover surely has his own intelligence network, enough to even recognize this quite famous face. If Gustav can manage to bond with this person somehow surely there will be higher chances of his master getting his plans accomplished, but for now he had to keep on with his act of the stupid, typical biker. The next step in his plan, asking the guy for a drink.
However, needless to say Gustav never really expected the three-eyed man to use telepathy to communicate although realizing he's a part of those super humans who fought in the martial arts tournaments. At first he was caught off guard a little, not really realizing how to properly respond to such a thing but no stress affected him. He was calm and collected as ever, being caught off guard in his disguise is sure to be a major mistake for someone as experienced as him. Problem is if the man would get upset or go with an assault, to which he will just have to react like a normal unsuspecting person. Tien Shinhan should know more than enough not to attack normal humans way below his level.
"Huh? Did you hear that?"
He suddenly said, eyes widening at the surprising 'voice in his head'. Making a fool out of himself like that was probably the most common way to fake in this case. He didn't really fear what did the fighter think of him but really just thought to himself how is he going to react to harder things this man will throw at him. The dark-skinned man figured if he plays along and introduces himself properly with no suspicion Tien should have no reason to go aggressive.
"Chaotzu a familiar of yours?"
He asked, knowing in his mind of course who this Chaotzu person is but still going with the plan. He never even planned to go encountering Tien Shinhan of all the fighters he had in mind, it's just what god threw at his direction and how could he possibly say no with a ride like that. Slowly he lifted the vehicle with the help of the 'stranger', coming from the front and leaning it on both of their hands for an easier job done.

The man’s reaction to Tien’s ploy was that of a novice as his body seemed to act surprised by the words that were projected directly into his mind, but it wasn’t going to be enough to convince Tien that he was just a typical person. He may have been in isolation for some time, but even a guy like him knew that there was no such thing as a typical anything in this world. If only his third eye would have granted him greater psychic abilities, then Tien might have been able to see into a person’s past, but pyschometry was not something that came with the stylish forehead display. Of course, no one need know what his third eye allowed him to do.
Naturally, Tien was going to have to respond the man’s question about what he had just ‘heard’, but his thoughts on what his third eye couldn’t do made him begin to brainstorm on what kinds of things would possibly lower a man’s guard. He could lie about it and say something that might scare the man into admitting that he was not all that he seemed, but Tien didn’t have any evidence to support the idea that this man was anything other than a biker. Also, lying seemed like something that someone that he wasn’t trying to be anymore, so resorting to that would just make everything that he had done up to this point become a waste. There were alternatives to lying.
“All I hear is us talking.”
The next question to come out of the biker’s mouth was about who Chiaotzu was, and Tien knew that there was no harm in telling him a little about the truth. If the feeling that he had was right, then keeping secrets was only going to make him look like he had something to hide, which was something that bad guys did to avoid being caught. It was tempting to just take a swing at the guy to see if the body’s reflexes gave something away.
“Since I don’t have any idea what a familiar is, then I doubt that my friend is one.”
As they continued moving the bike, Tien had the idea that if the guy was more than what he seemed then maybe his muscular look was more than just a look, and there was only one way to find out at this point. Once the weight was being evenly distributed between the two of them, Tien lifted it a little more so that the bike would start to put more pressure on the other man’s hands.
