The teen was pretty much minding his own business for the most part. He thought it would be the perfect time to get out into the wilderness once more and simply meditate. So many things were going on at once, therefore he needed this extra time to clear his mind of all distractions. For some reason he felt more connected to this planet when he was in the outdoors. Everything that made Earth wonderful seemed to lie outside the borders of its cities.
Silvery locks of hair standing on end, the teen's body rose a few inches above the ground as he sat still. It was almost as if a gentle breeze was holding him up, allowing him to defy gravity in some way.
With his mind, he probed outward in every direction, touching every single organism within the general area. There was a rabbit nearby, watching him, it was actually kind of cute. The teen's eyes were glued shut, focusing on nothing more than the life surrounding him.
He pondered about his ancestors, their abilities and whether or not he could stack up to their legacy. After all, he had no living examples before him at this time. All he had were memories which were not his own. This made things so difficult for him, impossibly so. He wished to learn more, to grow, to prosper. However, he must do so on his own, even he knew that.

After getting some information from Gohan, Tien decided to head toward the area that Gohan had last seen Krillin, who was the only other ally that he could see going to. It was his only real goal in mind at this point since Gohan seemed to be able to take care of himself, and Krillin always seemed like the type of guy who could use someone to watch his back. His plan was to find Krillin and then add on to the plan from there as trying to anticipate an opponent’s moves without truly knowing them would lead to complete disaster.
While he was thinking about things, Tien’s flight trajectory had taken him over someone that seemed to be meditating in the middle of the woods, which was not the safest of things to do during times like these. The smart thing was to pass over without stopping, but the right thing was to make sure that this individual wasn’t unaware of the dangers of this world. He slowly descended toward the ground with a cautious look on his face as it was possible that this person was an enemy that he was not aware of at the moment, but he doubted due to the person’s calm demeanor.
Telepathy was not always the right way of talking to people, but it was the best way of warning them that he was on the way. Of course, it had been quite some time since he had actually needed to use this gift that he wasn’t sure if he had done it successfully. He figured he had done it right since it was just like riding a bike.

Daikon had finished his spar match with Frostvite and rested back at Capsule Corp before beginning his journey again. His flight was now back to Korin's Tower to continue his training. The duffel bag slung over his shoulder as he flew through the air wondering which technique he should train for next. Maybe he could also work on making his own technique.
His relaxed a little, as he closed his eyes and smiled, feeling free in the air. He proceeded to twist his body around in the air. That's when his felt others thoughts and feelings in the area. Righting himself, he searched for where they were coming from. Then he heard someone speak out in there head. Did they know he could read minds?

Two individuals were fast approaching. He could feel their consciousnesses which overpowered those within the general area. The insignificant thoughts of the animals were soon overpowered by the presence of these people. Although he usually liked interaction with people, this was actually sort of breaking his concentration.
Nonetheless, the teen simply continuing sitting where he was, up until someone spoke through the void of his mind. Oh? Telepathy? So there were those upon this world that had that gift? Zaid was instantly interested in whoever said that. Though, he was also on the defensive, just in case it turned out to be someone not so nice.
About?
Zaid wasn't going to play games, not with so many of Freiza's men taking people away and whatnot. Why would he attack a stranger first of all? And what exactly would this person want to talk about. More and more, Zaid became suspicious of the entire situation.

Tien’s eyes shifted at the approaching power level, and thoughts of a trap were beginning to drift into his mind. If this was the way that he was going to go, then Tien planned to go with some company, and these two didn’t seem like they would prove much of a challenge to him, but looks could be deceiving.
I want to know whether or not you know of how dangerous it can be to be meditating in such a place as this.
The other presence in the area hadn’t made a move yet, but Tien didn’t like the idea of waiting around for it to happen. He was going to do the next best thing to a preemptive strike and invite the young individual down to join in on the conversation.
You might as well come down here. It isn’t like we haven’t sensed that you were up there.
When one flew, it always left an easy Ki trail for others to sense, and even the most gifted of maskers were prone to forgetting that.

Daikon's puzzlement only grew more. This voice in his head, who was it. Now realizing that he was not just talking to him now. Searching through the area, he found them in a small grove. Flying down and landing smoothly he looked at the two of them. "Whats with all the head chatter? Not like I was trying to hide or anything."
He stuck his right hand out for them to shake it. Sensing that the two were good people and that from his mind reading they weren't that going to do any harm. "Name's Daikon, what are you two doing way out here?"

"Of course I know that, I'm not a child after all." He was a teenager in human terms, though his wisdom flowed well beyond the realm of any human teenager for sure. The Forerunners based their social statuses off of two things. Intelligence and wisdom. To his people, neither were closely related to age, therefore age was never determining factor on how people were treated. If only humans were as intelligent..
The teen didn't even bother to say anything to the person lurking nearby. He was actually surprised that this three-eyed man decided to. Now, the second stranger was most definitely a kid, that couldn't be overlooked or disputed in the slightest. Talk about dangerous, this kid was the one flying around.
"My name is Zaid." The male would respond to the younger one, out of a combination of both politeness and instinct. He couldn't help but to be polite, it was engraved in his nature. Though he had business to attend to now. "What were you two up to?" He'd ask, ignoring the kind gesture of a handshake.

Tien turned to the young boy who had come after he had called out to him, and he wondered if this young one was more than he seemed. “No one said that you were hiding. I just said that you might as well join us as we knew that you were there.” He then turned his head to look at the fellow that he had originally started talking to so that he could address the statement that he had made before the boy’s arrival.
“And I don’t recall calling you a child. I was just trying to be friendly during times like these.” These two young looking males both introduced themselves, yet neither one had decided to say what they were doing in this particular area. It seemed like it was going to be up to him to start the feeling of trust among the three of them, which would be a different thing for him.
“My name is Tien Shinhan, and I am currently on my way to meet up with an old friend of mine. We have plans that need to be finalized for something that will hopefully happen soon.” Okay, he hadn’t spilled everything to these two, but he had been more forthcoming than they had been.

Daikon looked at both of them respectively as they spoke. These two seemed to have no connection to each other. Nor has he ever heard of either of them. Though, they had this air about them. Like they too were fighters of some sort. He wondered what they planned on doing on Earth with Frieza watching. Did they too, plan on overthrowing his rule? Or were they going for the bigger game of Dr. Hypnos?
Looking back at Zaid, he spoke of his reason for being out here. "Well, I was heading back to go train with my master, Korin. Have you two heard of him? He is a great Furry to train under, I have learned so much already and still have more to learn." He said with great excitement as he talked up his master. "Oh do any of you plan on entering the tournament that's coming up?"

"I see." He didn't really quite understand what this guy, Tien, was exactly talking about. But then again, he supposed it really wasn't any of his damn business anyway. so he didn't inquire any further than that.
"I myself am meditating or rather training. My people gain power from nature and tranquility, so that was what I was doing or trying to do anyways." They probably assumed Zaid was human, though he was much more than that. He was an ancestor to the humans, though still he remained to be something higher than them on the food chain of things.
"It's obvious Freiza has something in store for those who believe they are strong enough to compete. A trap, if you will. Anyone strong enough to be threat will probably eliminated in this tournament. But, I will still compete I suppose. Just to see..."
That was Zaid's feelings about the entire tournament. It was probably a set up of sorts, but he would go just so he could be there for the outcome. Granted he believed himself be rather strong, but he also believed there were individuals who still existed on Earth who were much stronger than himself as well.
In other words, people who could stand a chance against Freiza. What would happen if such people were all gathered in one place? Pandemonium? Possibly. His Forerunner mind was active with thoughts, his inherited genius flaring upon his neurons as he was in deep thought about the situation.

The young one mentioned heading to Korin’s Tower, which was a place that Tien had heard of from Goku some time ago. It was said that he only accepted the most noble of people, which was why he had not even bothered to try and take on such training. It made sense that the little furball’s pupils would have to be young as they would be completely uncorrupted by the nature of the world.
Zaid explained that he was training via meditation, which sounded like something that Tien had heard someone else did but he wasn’t sure. Of course, he noted the fact that the ‘young’ man had said his people during his explanation. This meant that he probably wasn’t human, which wasn’t something that bothered Tien anymore since half of his allies were from another planet.
“Even if Frieza uses the tournament to lure out strong fighters, it will give those of us looking for allies to meet up, so I will also be going.” Tien also knew that Gohan and Krillin would probably want to compete in it, and they would need someone to watch their backs in case there was some serious trouble a brewing during the matches.
Even if it was a trap, they couldn’t just run and hide, or else someone might get hurt in their place when they actually stood a shot of surviving. “I take it that you two are not human like me.” It wasn’t just a hunch as he could tell that they weren’t average fighters, and it had taken him years to get to the level that they were at.

Daikon grinned at the mans observation. He was very keen on knowledge of others life forms on this planet. Though, Daikon wouldn't of thought Zaid was not human. He didn't sense nothing different about him, just being more attune with nature but he had seen weirder things in his journeys.
He didn't even think to think that the tournament would be a trap. Honestly just saw it as a chance for him to test his strength against other martial artist. He needed to know if he needed to get stronger and where he stood among all the others.
"Well, I'm a Saiyan. Kakarot, I mean Goku, is my uncle." Daikon would say beaming up. He took pride in the knowledge that Bulma had passed to him, of him being related to someone with such respect on this planet. He wondered if Tien knew of him, if so then maybe he could also tell him more about his relative.

Once the boy said that he was related to Goku, Tien began noticing the similar features that both of them had, but it was still hard to believe. From what he understood, that would make Daikon the son of Raditz, who was Goku’s only sibling. This put him on edge as Raditz was someone that Gohan had talked about defeating in the future, so talking to Daikon might be a bad idea.
Seeing as how Zaid seemed to want to be left alone, Tien decided that it would be best for everyone if Daikon and him continued the conversation somewhere else. How about we live Zaid here and go talk about Goku? I was a close friend of his before his death. Honestly, Tien was still a close friend of Goku as he hoped to meet up with him in the hereafter.
With that thought being projected towards Daikon, Tien waved goodbye to Zaid and flew upward and towards a plateau that was nearby to set down. He hoped that Daikon would follow him there, but he would understand if there were some trust issues that couldn’t be overlooked.

Daikon looked over at the younger male as Tien spoke. Nodding his reply as Tien spoke into his head, he soon realized that this guy just projected his thoughts into Daikon's mind. Well, that was an interesting feat that he just displayed. That might of been what had happened earlier when he called him down, it wasn't his mind reading ability.
Though he barely knew this human, he was surely going to go with him. Not only did he feel like he could trust him, but he knew his uncle. To learn more about him would mean to know how to grow like him.
Watching Tien fly up, he would jump up and follow after him. The area they were at secluded from Zaid as they left him behind. He held a bright smile to Tien as they both landed down. "So, you know of my uncle!?" His meeting of various friends of his uncles was just pure luck for him.

Tien studied the boy to see if he could get a feeling of what his nature was, but there wasn’t any dark vibes entering his mind. The boy seemed to be too cheerful to be like his father, which was definitely a good thing in the opinion of the one who used to be known simply as 3-eyes.
“I know Goku very well. Back when I was a much younger man, I met your uncle through my former master. I wasn’t the best of people back then, but Goku saw my potential for doing good things in this world. With his help and the advice of his teacher, I was able to become the fighter and person that I am today.”
Thinking about it, Tien began to relive each moment of his encounters with Goku and his need to catch up his friend in mind and body. It wasn’t the easiest of tasks since Goku always seemed to be light years ahead of him, but Tien was not one to give up so easily. “Do you have any specific questions about him? I am not sure if I will be able to answer all of them, but I will try my best.”
