Since the fight with Cooler, Vegeta had been fuming as he had been unable to defeat the purple alien in his more primitive form, and he knew exactly why he had been unable to do it. It was due to his carelessness by becoming lazy in his training, and the Prince of Saiyans knew that he was going to have to take it up a notch to surpass the alien scum. Of course, there were other things that needed to be taken care of before he could bring his training regimen to a level that would allow him to defeat the icy alien clan.
For starters, he was going to order the other two adult Saiyans on his side to triple their efforts in comparison to his own since they were most certainly weaker than he was. Second, he was going to order them to take their respective offspring and teach them the correct way of being a Saiyan. He was not going to have some brats with the blood of the Saiyans in them become as repugnant as their human parents or as pathetic in combat as the offspring of Kakarot. His final thing would be to ‘convince’ Kakarot’s son that he was on the wrong side.
Once Vegeta united the Saiyans of Earth, he could bring their race back to its former glory, and that was a glory that they had earned from birth. “I will not be the lapdog of some backwater race. I am the Prince of all Saiyans, and this wretched little planet will know that if it is the last thing that I do.” First, he was going to have to check in on his own offspring to see how she was progressing since Nappa had been watching her, which didn’t mean that much. Nappa had been his own partner back in the day, but he wasn’t the best fighter.
The Royal Saiyan landed right in front of the residence of his comrade, Nappa, and decided that yelling for the girl was the best way of getting her attention. “Princess! You and I have must have a talk about your future, so get out here! Now!”

Perhaps it was a bit odd that Princess had brought with her to the saiyan abode a child who was nothing more than a human. However, for some reason or another, Jean really did want to meet her father, and as he was now her training buddy, she felt she could oblige, though she didn't think that her father would have any interest in meeting a little kid who had nothing to do with Saiyans.
Come out?... why can't he just come in? Princess asked herself, though she wouldn't dare to say that to her father. Back-sassing him wasn't something that she would ever dare to try. She groaned as she stood up from the couch and bent over for the television remote on the stand in front of her. She pressed the power button, turning the monitor off and then turned her attention to Jean.
"Well, he's here if you still want to meet him. Don't try to fight him or anything, Jean," she warned him again. She didn't know why he wanted to meet Vegeta, but the only explanation she could think of was a desire to challenge the Prince of Saiyans. She sighed again and made her way down the hall and out the front door. She took a few steps out and stopped in her tracks.
"This sounds serious... Dad..." she still wasn't used to saying it. That word sounded much too personal. Maybe "father" would be better for now.

This place in South City, where most of the saiyans seemed to reside, it was... not what Jean had expected. Of all the things that could be possible, why did it have to be that these people were working for Frieza? As a result, they were indirectly working for Dr. Hypnos and... now the boy felt stupid for coming to this area so unprepared. Had he known this was the case back when he requested to meet Vegeta, his curiosity might been a little easier controlled... What in the world were they all doing working for the doctor anyway? From outside, Jean heard a booming voice calling for Princess. His attention immediately fell to the girl, who was already in the process of turning off the devices in the house. Now that he had come to realize that Vegeta wasn’t exactly on the good side where he should be... the boy hadn’t a clue as to what he was supposed to say to the man. If anything, he seriously wished right now that he knew more about the prince, less likely to get himself killed that way, yet he had no such luck this time. ”Why d’ya keep saying that like you think I will?” he said in a hushed tone, more concerned that Vegeta would hear the girl saying that through walls or something ridiculous like that. The only thing he still had going for him was the fact that Princess still believed he was entirely human... whether that was a good or a bad thing, he actually couldn’t say. Nevertheless, as long as they believed it, it meant Jean would have no reason to explain how he had come to be partially saiyan. Jean followed along behind Princess until they were both out the door. His eyes found the saiyan prince, it was really him. The boy didn’t know how to react, or rather, how he should react given the circumstances. That left him with nothing more than staring in awe at the saiyan elite.

There was nothing more annoying than having to wait on a child to come out, and Vegeta was tempted to blow open the front door. Fortunately, this would not be necessary as his daughter came out and announced to him how serious his words sounded. At least she was observant enough to realize that he was not going to be one of those fathers that wanted to take his kid to the park. Well maybe a park that was full of fighters that would try to kill him, which would be close to what he envisioned an amusement park as being.
“It is time that you take your destiny more seriously,” Vegeta started to say when he noticed who walked out right after her. A young boy had been in the house with his daughter, and from what he could sense Nappa was nowhere to be found. That bald dung beetle was going to meet Vegeta’s Big Bang Attack the next time that he saw him. What were the two of them thinking by letting what he could only assume to be a human brat near a royal Saiyan? Well this wouldn’t do, and when something would do for Vegeta he had the tendency to blow that something into several pieces.
As he started to continue to speak, his fists clenched at the moment that his brow furrowed to show that he was becoming very irritated at what he was seeing. Then as if some other force guided his hand, he made a gun with it that was aimed at the young boy. “You have exactly ten seconds to tell me what do you think you are doing near my offspring!” If the boy wanted to survive to see his next birthday, then he had better talked fast because Vegeta was so focused on letting loose some anger that it was going to be very hard to miss.

Think about her future? Princess was very interested in this, though she wondered if she could have the type of future Vegeta and Nappa wanted for her, particularly when it came to boys. She knew that Nappa wanted her and Kabbar to be in a sort of arranged marriage later in their futures, but she wondered if her father felt the same way. Regardless, she wouldn't bring it up.
Princess folded her hands behind her head quite lazily as she waited for her father to speak more. However, concentration was soon broken as Jean came out and her father's reaction was incredibly violent and threatening. She then turned to face Jean.
"Calm down father, he's my training partner," Princess said as she inched herself closer to Jean. If her father fired something other than a skinny beam, he would most likely hit her as well.
"He's pretty tough for a little runt."

Young eyes immediately grew wide at Vegeta’s response to the apparent unwanted presence before him. The look of annoyance was so very plain to see on the man’s face, not to mention the finger that was threateningly pointed toward Jean like a gun... He couldn't figure what he had done wrong, but whatever it was, it felt as though he was on trial for a crime he was almost certain he had not committed. And he was usually well aware during those times when he actually had done something wrong... maybe it was trespassing?
He watched Vegeta’s finger steadily, hesitating to answer the question that had been put forth. This always seemed to happen whenever Jean encountered new people... funny that. Yet this time, well, he just had a feeling that this adult would be a little quicker than Gohan was to carry out his threats.
Oh, right! As the boy had become lost in his mind about how to answer the prince’s question, he had nearly forgotten that Princess was there with him. Luckily for him, she quickly put her words in to defend him. Hopefully it would do some good... because to be honest, Jean hadn’t any idea as to what he could possibly say to get away from this whole life threatening situation business.
”I met the princess in one of Capsule Corporation’s gravity chambers... sir...” he attempted to disregard her comment about him being a runt as he spoke, but that was a tough thing to ignore... Was he really that small?

The feeling of the annoyance didn’t vanish from his face as Princess explained to him that the boy was her training partner, but it was transferred from being directly at the young ‘fighter’. Vegeta was now annoyed that not only was his daughter spending time with humans but was even saying that one was tough, and that was something that he was not going to allow to happen again. To make matters worse, his daughter was positioning herself to obstruct the aim of his shot, and if he could emit Ki blasts from his eyes then there would have been two powerful ones aimed at his little brat right then.
The Prince of the Saiyans was tempted to take the shot even with his daughter standing there, but he decided to turn this situation into a piece of his lecture. “So you find yourself a training partner among the humans, and you come to the conclusion that he is tough. If you find that he is your equal in combat, then that means that you are as weak as these humans are, which brings me back to the point of my being here.” He crossed his arms and stared directly at his daughter, and saying that he was giving off this warm and fuzzy vibe for her to sense was completely wrong.
“You are Saiyan royalty, and it is time for you rise to level of such. No more will I allow you to fraternize with these humans on a sort of friendly terms, so if you want to fight them then it better be for a reason better than training.” He glanced at the boy that was standing behind Princess when he said that, and then his eyes shifted back toward his daughter. This was probably going to be the most sentimental part of his conversation if one were looking for some semblance of him being a real father. “From now on, how you train will come from me.”
It might seem like he was being a cold-blooded parent in how he was talking to Princess, but Vegeta held the weight of a dying race on his shoulders so there was no time for him to be the embodiment of a nice parent. “Are there any objections to this?” [/style]words: 380; tagged: Jean Briefs and Princess | [cs=2] template made by Damoncy |
