Sidestory; BAD LUCK ARC

I'm kind of curious as to how humanity would fare in what's basically a post-apocalyptic setting with alien overlords. If anyone feels like joining in, I'd be more than willing to start up a mini-arc involving gang warfare in East City or Raiders and Pirates in West City, or slavers working on behalf of the aliens just about anywhere.

It's kind of a low-powered setting though (guns, somehow, are still relevant) so if you're above, say, 2000 PL you'll need some sort of excuse as to why you've suddenly been de-powered. Getting sick, breaking a leg, being confined by some weird tech that sort of thing.

Definitely. I'm very interested in this and would love to be part of your plot.

And guess what? Videl's left leg (maybe it was right) and right shoulder (maybe it was left) are already broken from the last plot. I can just say they didn't heal yet and I'm good to go. XD

Anyway, I think this is a very good idea, and as admin, I'll back you up on your plot idea as well if you want me to post anything as an announcement or you want to write anything to make it more formal. Let me know if you need me to make any boards for you or anything like that.

Sounds fun and it would work well with Vash(Shadow) back story too, him being a runaway slave and somewhat of a gun users too lol. So count me in :3 I'll help where I can.

Haha, I'm not sure if I'd be comfortable with the responsibility of an official arc, but if you think something looks interesting enough to be judged worthy of an announcement I'll try to live up to those expectations!

So, a little more officially:

Bad Luck Gang, Part One

For the past few months, the Bad Luck Gang - originally a ramshackle collection of almost comically inept fighters - have become a far more dangerous group. Armed to the teeth with both human and alien tech they have become a notable threat to even those with substantial martial training. With their newfound competence they've abducted fighters, scientists, men, women, children - anyone that seems vulnerable is as good as gone. Many have lost loved ones to the predations of the now powerful gang.

Although the Bad Luck Gang has been able to avoid the attention of the truly powerful fighters a collection of concerned citizens have pitched together enough zenie to hire mercenaries of their own in order to destroy the gang and rescue their loved ones. A meeting is being held in the East City Ruins, by far the most heavily targeted of the remaining human settlements in order to gather both the mercenaries and volunteers for the expedition.

Requirements:

• PL of 2000 or less (this can be due to IC reasons, such as a broken limb or whatever but nothing that can easily be shrugged off, i.e. hunger or lack of sleep)
  
• no alien characters (exception: Namekians)
  
• warning: consider this a 'darker and edgier' take of the DB genre
  
• try to limit posts to three paragraphs so as to keep the flow going

You can count me in. Leo is from Satan City, just like Videl, and about the same age (Leo's 18, she's 19) so they might know each other anyway. Since I just started and my PL is below 2,000 because of that, it'd be a good start.
