The Changeling drifter found himself in, in his opinion, the most unsavory place on the planet. South City was the capitol of the empire that now ruled the known universe. He didn't like it at all. In fact, he had a particularly strong distaste for this city and everything it had come to stand for. He was here for one reason. He needed supplies. In his opinion stealing from the people in the ruins in the East was out of the question. They had done him no wrong, and though he cared not for them in the least, he was a respectable changeling. Stealing from earthlings might as well be the same as stealing from babies. In most cases it was too easy.
Since he had a dislike of South City, and because it presented its own challenge in claiming supplies from it without being caught or by fighting his way out he decided to try his hand at something bold. He stood near the northern edge of the city in between two of the taller buildings in the area. He was hidden behind one of the dumpsters in the alley, taking a break after the trek here from the East. If someone caught wind of his entrance to the city, they may be looking for him. So he waited for now.

Revas was doing another day of hard work, she had just stopped five robberies today as the town seemed to be becoming more and more lawless, with Freiza in charge her power to punish people was much lower, the humans were suffering so badly from the Tyranny it was almost frightening. As she made her way to the northern part of the city she sighed, she hardly had gotten rest due to all the crime. Even with Frostvite's help she was still way understaffed to stop all the crime while remaining undetected by Freiza's forces.
She made her way into the alley as she saw just hoe bad life for humans had become so many makeshift houses of boxes, many starving and looking in terrible shape she felt so bad for them but she was powerless to stop Freiza's forces making her mad as she lightly tapped the wall, she felt so helpless. As she continued she saw a little girl as she was asking for money, she was nothing but skin and bones as Revas walked to the girl lightly rubbing her head before handing her what she could in money. It was not much but enough to at least get a meal or two she smiled under her cape at the girl as the little girl ran and slipped pulling the cape from Revas. The humans around her ran quickly as the little girls mother grabbed her and ran, it was clear this was painful for Revas as she looked sad as they ran away. This always happened when people saw her form, but she would try to help these people even if she was feared even if she felt alone she had one ally Frostvite.
" These poor people... they did nothing to deserve this and Freiza treats them so terribly... I wish I could crush him he caused humanity so much suffering but I am powerless to stop him... I will one day defeat him and save the people of earth... for now I will help in any small way I can. "
She grabbed her cape as she began to cover herself again, if she did not people would fear her with the tyrant rulers in this city. Still she would find a way to end Freiza's reign over the earth, one day he would fall she only hoped she could live long enough to defeat him or watch him become defeated.

In his resting place Gelid never could have anticipated what happened next. A female in a cloak walked down the alley muttering something about the poor state of the city and the pity she seemed to have for the people enslaved here. As she handed a small sum of money to a little earthling girl, the girl tripped and dragged the cloak from the female. Gelid's eyes widened as he saw her. She was a changeling? What was she doing here? And why did she care about these people? So many questions both annoyed him and confused him. As the earthlings fled due to her appearance being revealed to them, Gelid got to his feet and stepped towards her.
He had come to the city in secrecy, hoping to covertly steal some things for his own sustenance and survival. Thus he was hiding his own appearance in a manner similar to what she had done, with a cloak. As he stepped toward her he reached up and flipped the hood of his cloak back. He had no fear of her betraying him to Freiza or his cronies. No one as... compassionate... as her would ever work from that tyrant. His face revealed, he speaks, "I never expected to see another of my kind here. And a female no less?" He smirked. This truly was an interesting situation. What little hope he had of some form of semi-normal social interaction.
"My name is Gelid." He figured he might as well introduce himself seeing as he was hoping for some kind of conversation.

She heard a voice speaking as she quickly turned to notice someone, she was sure it was a changeling like herself. Still he didn't laugh at her or mock her for being kind no instead he spoke and mentioned his name could there be another like Frostvite here as well things sure were getting interesting. Her kind eyes stared at him giving him a smile, she moved over grabbing his hand and shaking it softly the aura she had around her was nothing but kindness and love, to find someone like this was not common among her people from what she had gathered from Frostvite.
" My name is Revas Drakul and well I have no name given by our race I arrived on earth four hundred years ago so I do not know much about my family. I guess this is why I have such sympathy for the human race, they do not deserve to be enslaved, they are a wonderful people, smart and clever. Happy and sad and yet they have this emotion of love which makes you feel amazing inside, it can just make any bad day seem amazing. "
She smiled brightly at the other of her kind, if he was not from earth he would find her to be so very different. She also wondered why he seemed surprised about her being female, were they rare for her race she had no clue but he seemed surprised. She waited for him to reply as she showed no signs of lying, no there likely were no changelings that could fake a love like she had for humans and humanity, the thought of slavery sickened her to the very core of her soul.

He was surprised when she took his hand and shook it, but he did not feel the need to withdraw his hand before she finished. What in the world was going on? Her expression conveyed a positive energy that he'd not seen from any changeling before save for one. When she began speaking it only reaffirmed this fact. He found himself at a loss for words as he kept seeing his dear sister in her every time he looked at her. He would have felt annoyed if not for feeling some degree of...happiness? It's true that it reminded him that his sister was gone, but the memories gave him hope, and this person in front of him brought those memories vividly to the surface.
He shook his head rapidly as if breaking his train of thought. Gelid turned to face away from her so he wouldn't be distracted by his own memories. "Love? And that's why you care enough about them to risk your own life?" He could not fathom why a changeling would bother with a weak species like humans. Even with her being raised here, did she not have any pride in her own species? Was she not aware that she was so different from them? And who among these people could have possibly raised a changeling? This was certainly difficult to believe.
But he could not deny the sincerity in her voice. Somehow she was optimistic even in these circumstances. As crazy as it sounded, he had no doubts that she was telling the truth. "I see. I believe you." Normally he'd have had some kind of crude remark to offer, but he could not allow himself to say such things to this changeling. To do so would tarnish the memory of Glaciel.

It was hard to explain to someone that had not been on earth for a long time but yes she felt love toward the earthlings, she felt they were like a big family to her. She did not always agree with their actions but she generally loved earth and humanity to a level she would give her life to protect them. It seemed he believed her as her face light up and showed she was clearly happy as she moved close to him pulling him and attempting to give him a big hug, she was simply just this nice. She honestly never thought hugging others was odd because to her it seemed so second nature and she loved hugging people it always made them feel better.
" I am glad to hear that, anyways yes this was my story as crazy and far-fetched as it is, still I do not like anyone to harm humanity and I detest humans being slaves. I just... I don't have the power to stop Freiza and his forces, I was raised in such peace I never really had to fight that hard. He came from a world where fighting to survive was daily, such a gladiatorial world would turn most anyone cruel and heartless. "
Yes she still believed if Freiza ever felt love and kindness he would change, he never felt those emotions. No, she had to believe what Frostvite said he was raised this way but she would never give up hope on him changing until the very end.
" You know you are the second changeling I met that showed they are different I met a boy named Frostvite, he is scared of people but hes a good boy in general. I think he has a lot of promise in the future and I think you do as well, you both just need to feel how great humanity is how nice it is living among them. It feels pretty good feeling love and seeing them when they are happy you helped them, that is why I became a cop to help the people and do my little part in changing how they feel about aliens. "

She was honest, that was for sure. Either that or she was a supremely masterful liar. But her attitude about things kept him from believe the latter to be true. Her words would have fallen on deaf ears in most other cases. Few other changelings would have been willing to hear her out, but Gelid wasn't like most changelings. He would still question her, though. "So even with no chance of success you continue to fight? Your tenacity is admirable." If she knew him decently enough she'd consider him a hypocrite now. He knew that she didn't, but that didn't change the fact that he may as well have just labeled himself a hypocrite. He wasn't the type to give up when things were hopeless, either. His very purpose for traveling to this planet was a testament to that fact.
"It's not a kind place. That much you are correct about." Then again I didn't get to see too much of any world when my father had something to say about it. Gelid added that last bit in his own head, remembering that he'd been locked away for more than a few years of his life. "You say you met Frostvite? Interesting. I have met him as well." Gelid smirked at the irony of the situation. Three members of a race that normally fought amongst one another meeting on semi-peaceful terms on a foreign planet had to be more than just coincidence.
Still, he shoved that thought to the back of his mind with so many others and spoke once more, "If changing how they feel about aliens is your main goal, then you may be headed in the right direction."

She smiled it was true she was well on her way to making peace and as she figured the race was violent on the home planet. Still she was sure if the race had a new leader one that was both strong and wise one that showed kindness they could change for the good, she was positive of this. As for getting along and having humans understand her there was one who she had not mentioned yet, her boyfriend was human as her face blushed thinking about Leo, Gelid likely would never see why she would date a human but she did not care.
" Well I have gotten at least one human to view me differently... I have a boyfriend who happens to be human. It is a long story but we somehow ended up falling in love, so I figure if he is able to love someone like me then there is hope I can bridge a peace between our kinds. "
Her face was still a little flushed and she wondered what Gelid would think of her having a human boyfriend. As far as she knew she was the only changeling to see a human and date them, so it was certainly shocking to some people. However she knew she loved him with all of her heart, he was dear to her and mattered more to her then anyone else in the world, he gave her a reason to try even harder to end Freiza's terror.
