A death in the family [Revas, Saeko Khan]

Leo was a little surprised when Revas kissed him on the cheek, and he blushed for what seemed like the 20th time that day. It felt nice though, that he could get along so well with an alien. They flew on in relative silence before seeing the sights of West City, home of Capsule Corporation, as well as fine dining, cheezy movies, and other lesser known attractions.

Leo landed near the house he knew his sister was currently living, and immediately began to mask his Ki. Force of habit from hiding away for two years. He turned to Revas and smiled. "Well, here we are. I last saw Kairi with my sister Saeko. If anyone knows where she is, Saeko would know." He turned back to the house and yelled, "Hey, Sis! Come on out, I got a friend you have to meet!"

Revas was a bit nervous she had no idea how his family and girlfriend would react to someone like her most humans simply hate her race due to Freiza. She heard him call out for them as she hid partly behind him, she was unsure how they would respond but she simply hoped it was not with violence.

" I think maybe they are not home... I mean we can come back later... I... I hope they accept me. "

She was nervous as her speech seemed a bit hesitant, she was in her shy stage and her face was slightly flushed. What could she say to either I am his friend but I want to be his girlfriend, no she was not like that. She would simply have to submit and wait to see if he ever became single, she liked him quite a bit but she had no intention of stealing him away.

[/b]" With her knees bent, Saeko laid in front of Kairi's body filled with enormous guilt as tears began shedding from her eyes. "I am so sorry.. I can fix that. I can!" Jumping up, she looked around their home trying to find something to press against the wound to stop the bleeding. Her search was put on pause when a familar voice filled her ears, a gasp left her lips and she ran outside grabbing a hold of her brother ignoring the 'friend' he wanted her to meet. Tugging at his arm to try and get him inside, she sobbed out "Leo.. please you've got to help her! I don't know what to do.. it just happened so fast"[/justify][/ul]

Leo had never seen Saeko this intent, this upset. It didn't sit very well with him. He allowed himself to be led inside, pulling Revas with him as he did so. "Saeko, calm down. What's the pro....."

His voice cut off as he stared down at the beautiful red-headed 17 year old named Kairi, Leo's girlfriend since the first met in the first grade all those years ago. the girl he'd given everything to protect. He kneeled down and held her. He ran his senses over her, and discovered that her spirit was almost gone. He wouldn't be able to get her to a hospital fast enough. "Kairi? Can you hear me, Kairi? Please, my love, say something!" Kairi opened her eyes slowly, barely coming into focus. But she smiled as she recognized him. "Leo. I knew you'd come. you wouldn't let me die without saying good bye. You promised you'd be back. And you kept it."

"Kairi, don't talk like that. We can save you, I know we can." tears welled up in Leo's eyes as he tried to console her. "No, Leo. I'm gone. But know that I believe, even now, that you can save us all. I'll meet you on the other side eventually. For now, go. Save Earth. Find Love. Do it for me....." And with that, Kairi died in his arms.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Leo yelled as his energy turned bright red around him, he threw his arms out to direct the energy in a direction that wouldn't hurt his sister or Revas. The beam sliced through the house, breaking it apart more than it normally would. When it died down, Leo was still standing, breathing heavily, his anger abating. He turned to Saeko and hugged her.

He must have cried non stop for ten minutes, before letting her go.

Revas listened and watched the events unfold she could feel the girls life fade. Freiza and his goons did this, why would they kill a human who was no threat, she was so bad she was powerless to stop these attacks. She suddenly let out a loud cry as the overwhelming pain of seeing Leo suffering filled her every fiber of her being. She was tired of being powerless, so many people tossed aside like trash she had to find a way to defeat Freiza to prevent these deaths from happening again.

" I... Leo... I... I am sorry... I... we... we cant let this happen to anyone else. "

She was deeply saddened watching Leo cry her heart ached, to see someone she liked so much suffering was almost to much for her heart to bare. She moved close to Leo resting her hand on his shoulder as the other girl now likely would notice what Revas was. Her tail appearing near her feet as her focus on hiding what she was now was gone. She only had concern for Leo and for his suffering, she was dead but the least they could do was bury here with dignity and respect.

" Leo... she... she is dead... we should bury her respectfully... she deserves a good funeral but... we cant have such things right now with Freizas forces around. If we want to stop this... we have to try to defeat him and that will require training. I don't want to see anyone die again by his hands, my heart hurts... so bad but... the rage I feel is almost overpowering this. "

She moved behind Leo her hand on his shoulder as she slowly closed the girls eyes with her hand. She was dead there was nothing they could do about this. She had a new resolve now she did not like violence but she could not stand by idly anymore and let people die because of her code of morality. She wanted a peaceful negotiation but if Freiza wont reason she would try to kill him to save earth from anymore days of suffering like this.
