It was not the typical place that Kairin found himself to be relaxing, but on top of a building with his legs off the side down towards the traffic and flow of people, it was more or less a nice site to see. The people of West City were not thus enslaved by Frieza, so more or less they were unaffected by whatever influence he had on the planet, which was in no means a small factor. It was nice, even if it was not necessarily a permanent thing, but the Capsule Corporation had done a good thing for them by making sure that Freiza was not taking over the city. They were hard workers regardless of their actual work, so long as they did their part to protect thousands upon thousands of civilians and resistance forces alike, it was no surprise that they were willing to supply him with technology on many levels. After all, that would only get him so far.
Looking up at the sky while still maintaining a good posture, he teenager would take this moment to observe the movement of the clouds in accordance to the wind that he felt. Of course there was a large difference between the due due to the way the air pockets up in the higher reaches of the atmosphere acted, even if the clouds themselves were only located in the troposphere, the lowest level of the Earth's atmosphere. The raw distance between where he was and where the clouds were, a mere minute or two in terms of flying straight up towards them, was enough to determine the speed at which the winds moves. It was so odd and random where he was, yet almost systematically where the clouds were and higher, even moving in regular pockets of air that travel 24/7.
Now actually relaxing, the upper portion of Kairin's body would be set down against the roof of the building, as his legs were remaining off the side of the roof. He didn't care if the people below saw this and thought of it as weird or odd, he was doing what he wanted to do how he was going to do it, and he doubted there were very many people in this region of the world that could really influence him enough to a point where he would do what they wanted. Sure, Kairin was a nice guy, but sometimes he just needed that level of freedom where he was doing what he wanted... Ah, relaxation, how hard it made the young teenager think about the world. Truly... not relaxing.

West City was his destination, but Tien wasn’t sure if he was actually going to make it to the city as there always seemed to be something that came along to prevent him from going straight to his actual target. Last time, it had been a pair of aliens looking for a fight, so he wondered what it would be this time. It wasn’t like he didn’t like these interruptions as the last one had introduced him to a young fighter by the name of Vanto, and fighters were what he was looking for at this point in his life. Every able body person was needed if they were going to have any chance of defeating Frieza, but as he continued to travel forward Tien noted that he had crossed over into West City airspace. It seemed like he was not going to be stopped from visiting some old friends.
Fortunately, Tien spotted a young boy resting on top of a building which was an unusual sight even for him, and he decided that it needed investigating. This need actually came from the fact that he could sense an above average power level from the young lad, which meant that this could be another possible recruit into the resistance against Frieza. If all else failed, then Tien would have only lost a few moments of time that he could have spent with his friends at Capsule Corporation, but there was this strange feeling that this boy was going to be worth talking with. He quickly descended downward to the rooftop that the boy was on, and Tien stood there for a moment with his arms crossed as he tried to figure out exactly what he should stay to start the conversation.
After about a minute, he decided up on using one of the most common way that someone could start a conversation, but even though it was common Tien found a way to make it his own. Hello there,[/i] he projected directly into the boy’s mind. Telepathy was the best way to not only make sure that someone didn’t ignore him, but also a perfect way to have a private conversation with someone. Obviously, the opposing person would have to have the capability of using telepathy as well, but it wouldn’t matter in this instance. Tien just wanted to catch the boy’s attention in a unique way, and he was almost sure that he had done so.

At this point in time Kairin was still tying to meet new people for any chance of a resistance, because he knew without anyone else to help him, he would stand no chance against Frieza. Sure, he could train and train all he wanted, but Frieza had been "training" or whatever exactly it was he did to get stronger since before Kairin was even born. There was technically a chance that he could somehow just become so strong that he surpassed that of the tyrant, but that was just so far fetched that... well, Kairin was never a pessimist so there was no use in staying on the topic any longer than his mind drifted off into it, because it could really ruin a good mood. One of these days he would just bump into an exceedingly strong fighter who knew a whole group of fighters that were training together to bring down the alien overlord... hell, it might even be today.
Not too long after that thought was in and out of his mind, a truly astonishing power level would be sensed making way towards Kairin. On Earth it was relatively easy to keep a hold on all of the really large power levels, since they all seemed to move within a certain vicinity which was more or less within the range of the boy, although focusing on them could give you a headache with everything going out in the world. The times where Freiza's power was really close was when Kairin knew he had to train at his maximum power and would often push himself further than he should be, but it was within the right mindset. Guessing from the trajectory and such, the power level seemed to be heading straight for the teenager, though for the sake of things he would not take not of it, since if it was an evil one, things could get ugly depending on how the cards fell.
When he sensed that the power level had stopped moving and was rather nearby, within talking distance, Kairin would get his body at the ready but not move a muscle. Not until the telepathy was read, at which point he was a little more at easy. Judging by how everything had happened so far, this was a potential ally for him to gain, and he didn't want to risk losing the chance. "I can tell you're a gifted fighter, so I must ask you..." as he turned around the face the man, seeing he was human. "Is the resistance really this desperate, that even a puny power level like mine is worth checking out?" It was true, compared to some of these guys Kairin was nothing, yet he was being pulled off of the street left and right. Sure, compared to other humans he was something, but not to this guy, or Freiza... not yet.

Leo was flying around, minding his own business, not even a real destination in mind, although his sister DID live in West City, perhaps he'd visit her. He sensed two energy signatures, one quite strong, and could probably waste him without second thought, and the other was weaker than him. He flew a bit closer and heard them talking.
It wasn't until the person about his age, the smaller of the two power levels, had asked if the resistance was so desperate, they recruited from his low a power level. Leo had to fly down to give his two cents.
He landed just behind the person, lightly so as not to spook him. "I'm sure the Resistance wants all the help it can get. After all, the more we have, the better our chance at survival." Leo looked over at the three-eyed man with the immeasurable power level. He had heard stories of one of the Z Fighters having three eyes, and wondered if this man was him, or related at least. "If you're recruiting for an organized resistance, I'm more than happy to throw in."

The boy’s question was definitely a reasonable one to Tien as anyone could tell that the boy’s power was not even close to some of the aliens that Tien had fought in recent days, but then again the boy was rather powerful for his age. Given the right training, he could advance rather quickly, which was half the reason why the experienced fighter was considering the recruitment of young people into the battle against Frieza. The other half of the reason was that they really didn’t have any choice at this point as anyone who could fight was useful to them, but the teenager didn’t need to know that part of his reasoning.
Tien was about to respond to the young man’s question when the entrance of a new boy coming with the exact answer that the three-eyed man was about to say. Yet another person with an above average power level, but still in need of some serious training to do any good against the forces that Frieza had at his disposal. It had just occurred to Tien that maybe this wasn’t such a good idea to begin recruiting people at this age for a fight against Frieza. If they were to lose, then the Earth wouldn’t have any hope for a tomorrow, but then again that evil tyrant might just kill off anyone that could potentially pose a threat to him after they did attempt to kill him.
“I am indeed looking for any fighter who is willing to stand up to the forces of Frieza, but I understand that you might feel that your power level isn’t much now but we didn’t plan on going in without a plan. We do plan on doing some extensive training to build our power levels up to where they would need to be in order take on Frieza himself down, so if you two want to take part in getting our planet back then now is the time to decide.”

It would seem as if in the middle of a conversation with the name three eyed man, another male would have to interject his thoughts on the matter at hand. It wasn't a problem that he was doing so, just interesting to see how humans interacted one another, especially so when they had supposed opposite views on the subject. Now, it wasn't that Kairin objected to anything that either of them were saying, but from his given plea they could potentially be thinking otherwise. Facades were always fun to put up at first, to see the true nature of new people, and indeed it had worked. Both of the men who were now in the conversation could almost definitely be held to their word of wanting to take down Frieza, and there was nothing else in the world that the teenager would want than to train for that very matter; he would think about doing it after he became the strongest one in the group.
It was just interesting; had he really given off so much "negativity" that the three eyed man thought Kairin was not up to the challenge? If there was no challenge in doing it, then there was no drive behind him to get his body into proper shape for fighting against the mass of aliens he would need to be taking down. Surely there was just a bit of miss communication because the facts were not adding up, or possibly Kairin was missing something that he said. Every now and then he would have short term memory loss, although it could just be his mind drifting off into other places when he wasn't particularly into things. No, it wasn't the males' fault, he was just pondering on different things... and right now extensive training was sounding about as interesting as things got on that forsaken planet.
"Don't get me wrong, I've been dreaming about taking Frieza down for multiple years. In no means do I want to turn down the offer, let alone feel I'm not strong enough. Clearly at this point no one is truly strong enough to face up to Freiza with a good chance of succeeding, let along the chance to succeed at all. If such a person existed, then I'm sure they would either be training to get the edge, or be fighting against Freiza right now. Unless it happens to be the first option, then I don't think such a person at the current state in time exists. Of course that's where extensive training comes in, and I know I can up the notch on how I'm trying to strengthen myself. I just have one question for you... Is now truly the time to decide? I figured if someone had not yet made up their mind to take down the tyrant, that they would not have the proper amount of drive... the right motivation to seek out enough power to do the deed. Honestly I just see it as something one should have had their mind set on for a long time now, and you can definitely count me in," giving another one of his speech replies, it was their turn to speak.
