Gold, Gold, Gold! [Plots!]

[General Gold]

If you're here, I'm sure you can figure for yourself that this is the place to go to plot with General Gold himself. So here's the deal: He's able to be where he wants, when he wants, and has the privileges that only rank and money can bring a man. Fantastic for him, but what does that mean for you? All sorts of things, of course.

Good Characters can find a potential ally and friend in the man, so long as it's on the down low so nobody is the wiser. Or, for those that meet him on the battlefield, they might find a deadly adversary who rarely fights alone.

Evil characters have an ally in General Gold, in duty at least. Since the Red Ribbon is a force loyal to Hypnos, it goes well to assume that he's in with that sort of crowd, especially at as high of a rank as General.

Unsure still? Well, here's a few relationships to consider...

Friendship ->
Cian is prone to taking time for himself. Hired manpower executes the majority of his plans, and he trusts his forces implicitly to carry out his will. That leaves him time to train, play, or even relax like a lazy jerk. He's also a friendly guy, so he's rarely opposed to having company. Plots from friendship can be diverse. Perhaps the friendship could be challenged by the sudden realization he's playing both sides? A Red Ribbon soldier may be surprised to find he's protecting refugees and sinking money into anti-invasion efforts. A human may be quite surprised to find he's a General in a criminal army. Or, if you're oh-so-awesome, you may just find that you're one of his trusted soldiers, who work with him to ensure the future of the human race.

Rivals ->
Cian can get a little competitive from time to time. Be it a battle, a martial-arts tourney, or the arcade, Cian will get involved and try his best to enjoy himself. Nothing takes him to the next level like a worthy opponent.

Lovers ->
Who doesn't want one? Cian can't see himself settling down anytime soon, but he's no playboy either. He certainly can't plan on randomly finding a woman that interests him.

The Spoil-Sport -> LOCKED
Cian is working behind the back of the Red Ribbon to establish underground refugee camps and a unified resistance against the invasion. Someone may someday work contrary to his goals at some point, possibly ruining everything. We don't want this idea to happen yet, if at all. What good is a huge dramatic turning point for a character if their plans are dashed almost as soon as the character is made?

Cohorts ->
Cian has a very select force of soldiers at his command, and may have the smallest army among the generals of the Red Ribbon, but they're all talented, and each is entrusted with Cian's secret ambitions. He needs soldiers he can trust, so if your character isn't right with the way the Red Ribbon runs things, Cian may just be the commander you've been looking for.

THE Butler ->
Cian is rich. Therefore he has a butler. It comes with the territory, right? Well, Cian wants the most epic, awesome, super-charged butler EVER. OF ALL TIME. Maids could apply as well. He or she would be more an assistant than a servant. Think Alfred from Batman, or Walter from Hellsing. Who doesn't love those suave gentlemen?

[Android 25]

Android 25 is Neutral, but, if you read his profile, you'll know that he doesn't like the evil much, he prefers the good, but he HAAS to obey orders. He'd be a perfect ally and friend of General Gold for this very reason. In him gives Gold someone he really can trust. And this would introduce 25 to the goodness he really wants, and since Androids can't defect, this is as close as he can get.

[Revas Drakul]

I could be involved as a ally as either Revas or Gohan, though Gohan would also consider you a rival but also be very cautious. Revas is a lot more kind and would be a lot less suspicious of you if she knew you were truly good and had to do things because you had no choice.

[General Gold]

25 -> Fantastic. And it'd be oh-so-easy to get the two to meet. Having 25 assigned to General Gold as protection is simple and not at all suspicious. I'm sure 25 will find the venture to be a very rewarding experience.

Revas -> Getting the two to meet might be something of a small stretch, but that's what "Oops, I bumped into you" kind of threads are for. (Of course, it totally doesn't have to be something so cliche.) Thankfully for her, Cian keeps himself separate socially from Gold, so if she's going to have issues with Gold, she simply doesn't have to know.

Gohan -> I can see some tension if Gohan does find out Cian is also General Gold, which would be great for later character interaction. But, as with Revas, Cian wouldn't be out and advertising that he's General Gold. So they could still be friendly, if not prone to the occasional scrap in the spirit of competition. Though I suppose Gohan will be a bit out of Cian's league when he gets his official power level.

[Android 25]

I finally have a PL for 25, so I can just jump in whenever you want me to.

[Yoshiro Mifune]

Mifune is technically neutral, but given how much he desperately wants to be good despite having been forced to work for the Red Ribbon Army, I can definitely see him wanting to associate with someone like General Gold. Of course, he's cunning enough to understand that neither can show their true colours under the watch of the Red Ribbon, but nevertheless I can see some sort of alliance there.

[General Black]

Well. As you may know, General Black is in charge of everybody while Dr. Gero plans his yet another mischievous plan and therefore he controls all forms of patrol, investigation, assault, armory, contact and so on. The entire base of the Red Ribbon Army under his command also includes General Gold and his little squadron, and from experience through the years Black has learned that you should never involve emotions in a job, especially not as fierce as this one. You do what the boss tells you, it's that simple.

That doesn't mean Gustav is a soulless bastard. Cian/Gold might find him a nuisance, but Gustav is a people's person, especially when it comes to drinking and bonding. He'll be more than glad to develop a friendly relationship with someone so young yet so important to his army. Sure, Gustav could be heartless on duty, but when he's done him, his motorcycle, a bottle of alcohol and whoever tags along is his way to pass time.

[General Gold]

Mifune -> Moar minions! Mwahahaha! Stereotypical bad guy laughter aside, Gold can always use more loyal soldiers under his command. Because changing the world is always more fun with friends. Being that Gold is oh-so-approachable, he won't mind the opportunity to get to know one of his soldiers better. Perhaps over a training session or some such.

Black -> Being "The Boss," for the rest of the generals, Black has a lot of say over the running of the Army. So that means Gold can be pulled in for a meeting at any time. Since Cian has a lot of secrets to keep, Black would be his most dire concern in such regards. Which means Cian would most obviously be more tense around him. Drinks and a friendlier atmosphere could rectify that somewhat. It'd be a great way to make Cian "bite the bullet" and deal with his fellow generals while acting like he's okay with what the Red Ribbon does.

Actually, I see them as opposites in a way. Cian obviously has his heart in everything he does. He controls a small force compared to Black's overwhelming force. Black stays away from the front lines when he can, controlling the battle through the chain of command. Cian relies on small-squad operations, taking an active role alongside his troops. Back has the whole of the Red Ribbon Army, Cian has his small elite forces. There could definitely be some interesting interaction between the two.
