Knowing of a particularly empty field of sorts where Kairin could definitely get some isolation away from the rest of civilization, the teenager would have set off so that at the brink of daylight he could get there. There was more than enough room to look in every direction and see as far as the curve of the Earth would allow you. The field could really be called a plain, as it was completely "flat", although it was odd for the crust of the planet to be really such a thing, as it was just unnatural. The earth was cracked and dry, no plant life being able to survive without water, something this part of the world just didn't get. Ever. No one really knew why, because no one really cared enough to do the research needed to find the answer to the question, but for the time it was just an accepted fact that no one questioned, because they all knew that no one had the answer.
To the teenager, it was just the perfect place to really train the mind, because without it the body was nothing but matter. To fully function one must be in full control of themselves, and that included the part of the body that controlled the action of the rest. Being a scholar of sorts Kairin didn't find fun in studying, although no one really did. Opening an an encyclopedia at any given page and reading a random line was like a review for him; no he did not have all of the information at his disposal, but somewhere and some time in the past he had most likely gone over it should it not have been a recent discovery. Even then, who knew: word gets around. With a day of literally nothing ahead of him, Kairin would remain down in an Indian Style sitting position while focusing the entirety of his mind and soul on one thing, and that was patience. Things would come and go in his mind, but he would just let go on the outside world. If something was a dire emergency then maybe he would go away from his training, but that would really depend on the event.

Gohan was a little depressed lately, he had gotten beat down by Vegeta and he had really no one to train with. Tein seemed to be busy and most of the other z fighters died, he had yet found a group which he could train to fight Freiza meaning he was for now alone. As he traveled from the mountains through the desolate plains he felt something a power level, it was not overly powerful but a lot more then a normal human. Could this be a fighter, or was this another of Freiza's henchmen, he would find out soon enough as he flew toward the location landing nearby.
" Well you appear to be a human, so are you one of Freiza's goons or are you someone who wishes to save earth. Do not bother lying to me I will know if you lie, however I do not think you are evil. "
There was zero things worth any value out here so this person was likely attempting to train away from where Freiza's forces would be looking. To think other fighters were still around, however he was still being vary cautious and if the boy could sense his power level he would notice it is well above any normal humans. He waited for his response, maybe this could be one of his z strike force, someone to do hit and run tactics but if he was he really needed to train him into shape.

Somewhere off in the distance a power level could be potentially be sensed, though part of the training was shutting off the outside world to a point, and focusing on the mind and soul. That wasn't to say that when the power level got much closer Kairin would still have it shut off, but until it got past a certain circle surrounding him, basically, it would not pop out to him as anything to take notice to. He was trying to advance himself, and self discipline was needed for this to actually work; if he just did it while allowing everything to run as if nothing was happening, it wasn't training. Restrictions were part of what made training sessions more than just a normal exercise. It turned it from a routine into an activity or event which really gets the body as a whole from one level of strength and power into that of something on an entirely different level, technically.
It would be moments before the figure began to talk that Kairin could really pick up on the potency of the power that was within the being. No, it was not exactly the strongest power level he had ever felt in his life, but regardless it was still a very powerful on in every aspect. Kairin was but a bug in comparison, and something was telling the teenager that he was not feeling the true depths of whatever was within the man. "As if I would try to ally myself with Frieza. I see no point in trying to get on the good side of the tyrant, he is simply enslaving the human race. Putting myself at his side would be the same as turning my back to everyone I know. Quite frankly I am looking for quite the opposite, even if in my current state I stand no chance whatsoever. That's why people train, and that's why I'm here right now, to work my mind and soul in conjunction with my body," keeping a solid eye contact, unknown to Kairin, with the Saiyan and Human hybrid. In every aspect he looked human, but sometimes looks were deceiving, no matter how convincing.

So he plans to fight Freiza that was good and he wants humanity to be free two positive things. He did not cower from Gohan which made him glad as he moved closer to the boy looking closely at his legs and arms, he did seem to train a lot he just did not have the good ki control to make himself stronger, that was fixable however maybe he could even learn the kamehameha. He smiled at the boy rubbing his had, well he was unsure what to say he had such strong resolve.
" I see well then maybe you would be interested in a little group I am forming. Our goal is to defeat Freiza and take out his forces on earth. Though right now I think we need to train you quite a bit more, you have hope but you know. "
He was a lot weaker power level wise, Gohan understood humans could surprise anyone but he also knew that Freiza's forces were vastly larger. They were no joke his father died to him along with several other z fighters, so underestimating their sheer power would be a major mistake. He waited to see how the boy would respond, would he deny the idea or would he accept it, either way Gohan knew he would go train and get stronger because being content at his current level was not good enough.

Chiaotzu had been wandering around since coming down off of Mt. Paozu. He thought about just going straight to Tien, his friend of many years, but decided he'd try to do some good in the world first. It was during this wandering that he came across a familiar Ki signature. He hadn't felt that signature in almost 15 years. It felt good to feel it again.
He followed the signature to it's location and was not surprised to see it's owner all grown up. There was another, coming from the teenage boy Gohan was talking to. The boy had a gift, but it was currently weak, and un-honed. He and Gohan were going to have to correct that oversight.
He walked up to the pair, idly playing with a couple of pebbles via his Telekinesis, making them orbit around him like he was the sun, and they were planets. When he spoke up, his voice was as high pitched as Gohan would remember it, but it showed a gravelly quality that only comes with age. "Now, Gohan, you wouldn't be starting the Z-Fighters back up again without little old me, now would you?"

It was true, Kairin did the best that he could with what he had to work with, but being with a human put him power wise on the lower end of the scale, simply because the human race was not one built around physically fighting. They were a more intellectual mind based race that invented weapons to do the actual act while humans pulled trigger or pressed buttons. The potential with fighting like certain alien races is that you can surpass that which can be artificially made, since such a thing can only truthfully get so strong. If you mix two gases that when they contact make an explosion, that ratio of gases will only be that strong. Different ratios might bring forth more promising results, but never that same combination. However, the same person can vastly improve through pushing their body to the limit multiple times over, something artificial things could only wish to be able to achieve, although it is simply impossible.
Getting in this supposed group with the intentions of bringing down Frieza was definitely something that perked Kairin's interests, since he had been trying to find people worthy to join him on his conquest. Thinking about it now, he wasn't even sure if he was worthy enough to be going along with someone as powerful as the man in front of him, although he at one point was probably just as strong as Kairin. No one was born with immense power, right? Maybe some super race of fighters, hopefully not the one Freiza came from, but the possibility certainly existed in the world. Some could become stronger though a changing in shape, although Kairin did not know of any race other than the one Frieza came from, and that was only in myth. Humans certainly couldn't do such a thing, could they? Only one way to find out.
"Well, if the goal is to take down Frieza, I wouldn't be true to myself if I were to turn you down. In the least I have to give it a try, but if I do end up slowing you guys down I won't take it personally, what's best for Earth is what's best for Earth," and with that Kairin would stand up. As he was speaking it would seem as if another power level that was certainly more impressive than Kairin's would be approaching, but it did not quite compare to the man in front of him, which would end up being Gohan. The man had not said his name personally, but the new entity would say it as if that was his name and that they had known each other, possibly from a long time ago predating Kairin's existence... but it was just a little kid? Aside from being a humanoid alien, Kairin just couldn't believe someone that small and human like could be... so powerful, yet human. Maybe he was overworking his mind...

He listened to the boy though yes he was weak now after some training with Gohan he would be toughened up very quickly, it was likely this boy had no clue Gohan was a saiyan or even what his race was. As he prepared to answer him he heard a familiar voice he turned smiling and glad he was still alive Chiaotzu was still alive and well, he motioned for him to move closer as he seemed quite a bit happier now.
" Well I am shocked he is alive but he was on the former z fighters and he is pretty strong for a human, he fought bravely by my fathers side even if my father died he fought valiantly. I think me and him have the same idea, we plan to help you become a worthy fighter I sense no bad intentions and lets face it anyone would help right now with the current situation. "
He smiled widely as he looked toward Chiaotzu he was so happy he was alive. He knew about Tein but he was unsure if this little guy had lived, last time he saw him was years ago. He figured he would have gotten himself killed by Freiza's forces with his never say die attitude. Well things were starting to look a little better, another strong fighter is just what he needed, with him Tein and this new guy they could train and become a strong team together though not in the same way the original z fighters fought.

Chiaotzu got closer, as Gohan beckoned, and let the pebbles fall. He walked up and gripped Gohan's hand in his, and though he was only about half Gohan's power right now, Gohan STILL wasn't able to crush his little hand. Chiaotzu turned to the new kid and offered his hand to him.
"I'm Chiaotzu, Prince of the Lost Kingdom. And yes, though I was thought to be dead, I barely managed to escape to heal and train. 16 years is long time, but I'm stronger than ever. With our help, kid, you can get this strong. Stronger, even. I know we will, so you've got some catching up to do."
While speaking to the kid, he sent a Telepathic message to Gohan."Yeah, I might have a bit of a Martyr Complex, Gohan, but I'm not stupid. I was outmatched, outgunned, and outnumbered. Getting myself killed would have proved nothing. It's good to see you again, too."

So it would seem as if both of the males in front of him were completely superior to Kairin, yet they were no match for Freiza or his forces. Sure, the teenager always knew that the aliens were strong and that he would have to train rigorously to stand a chance up against them, but it was certainly a good thing that he managed to meet up with people who shared the same passion as him to take down the tyrant. Would he have even lasted five seconds had he not gotten any allies in his resistance fight, thus potentially losing the fight for Earth? The planet needed all of the fighters it could get to go against Frieza, and he was only a little hesitant on saying that every fighter who was killed could possibly have just made the loss for the human race, because without them they're losing an incoming training source, as well as probably a strong base power level. Since these were but two of the fighters, and their power levels were quite differing in the overall aspect, could there be others who shared the same difference, but instead of being weaker than Gohan, be that much stronger than him? It was a good thought to have in mind, because for all he knew these were the weakest of the group, trying to act strong in front of the new guy.
Letting them meet up and everything after not having seen each other in what seemed to be roughly sixteen years, which would be when Kairin was born and a year before the hell broke out on Earth that had only reached the teen's ears in stories told by his father, it was interesting. The Z Fighters were said to be the original resistance to go against the aliens that had made their way to Earth, although their loss was a grave one for it resulted in the Earth being in the current state it was; slavery. Sure, it could be a lot worse with the alien tyrant using the human race for many things that hopefully he hadn't already thought of, but in no way did Kairin feel content with leaving things how they were. He wanted to break away from them all completely, and if he needed to he would gain power in just about any way given to him, with his currently best offer being to team up with these two to learn what they could teach him. Having others with him would certainly boost moral, which would result in a better end result.
As much as Kairin wanted to give them all day, he knew there was a limited amount of time he could spare before feeling the urge to be gaining any sort of progress, training or planning. "It's nice to meet you Chiaotzu," bowing at the little man, "as well as you, Gohan," doing the same to the taller male. "I realize I have a long way to go in the path to power, but if I wasn't ready to overcome the challenges that were set in front of me predating my birth, I don't see a point in the past five years at all. I've devoted this much time to the strengthening of the Earth's chances against Frieza, and I don't see a reason to stop all of that just because the going got rough, because as far as I am concerned it's been rough since my birth. The path ahead of me may be a long and steep hill, but by no means am I going to loosen up just because I get scared; I'm going to use that emotion as a catalyst to make sure no one else has to feel whatever feelings I'm feeling. To be perfectly honest, I'm sick of living in fear," and taking a small breathe, he had said what he felt he needed to. The two others should understand that Kairin was ready to start so long as they were done talking. They had work to do.

He listened to the boy he had strong resolve as Gohan nodded at him, he understood exactly how he felt despite having trust issues he understood he needed to work with others to have a chance to win. As he listened to Chiaotzu in his head he laughed he was glad to hear that and nodded at him, yes this was all starting to come together this time however they would go about this the smart way. They would pick off Freiza's forces one by one and the first target would likely be the red ribbon army they were the weakest of the teams Freiza had but even then they would need to be cautious.
" Well first plan is to do some training, I think at first Chiaotzu is the best for you to face, once you are near him I will become your opponent. In the meantime I will be training by myself but do not worry I will stay close by, I just feel he is a lot more of a match for you then I would be. "
He smiled at the two waiting for the answers, he would be the teams leader as he was forming it he simply hoped anyone he invited could take orders. Tein might be a bit stubborn as he is the strongest but he is not a leader type of person and Gohan has certainly seen what happens when you have a poor leader. As great as his father was he was no ta thinker he was a instincts person and that would not work in this situation. He could feel he was finally getting closer to his goal for now though they would need to train this boy hard to get him close to equal level.

Chiaotzu listened to Gohan and nodded in agreement. He was always up for a little training, a little fighting. It settled his mind, allowed him to think, helped him control his Telepathy.
"I agree. Though I'd like to get a feel for your fighting style before we go off specifically to train. Perhaps a little friendly spar, with Gohan acting as mediator? Stun attacks only, no death, come at me with everything you got."
With that, Chiaotzu dropped into a fighting stance. The stance was unique, being with his left hand still down by his side and his right hand up in a defensive position, his right foot forward.

Taking a pause after speaking to let the others discuss whatever they had to talk about, it would seem as if Gohan trusted Kairin, although there was no reason for that not to occur. Kairin was a loyal fighter to his planet, and it was clear he was willing to do whatever it took to get up to the point of the others, no matter how much time and effort he would have to put into it. In the end it would come to the fact that Kairin was going to have to go hand to hand with the smaller and weaker of the two power houses in comparison to himself, and in no means was this going to be an easy fight. Quite frankly Kairin was yet to truly fight anyone with a power level above that of the normal populace, so it would be interesting on a personal note to see how his brain reacted to whatever the "man" could throw at him, and his own strategy for fighting.
'No death? It's not like even if I came at you with everything I had, I could easily reach such a feat...' the teenager would think to himself as he saw Chiaotzu getting into a fighting stance. Figuring there was no real way out of this without getting out of the fight through some form of embarrassment, especially since he was not the type of person to just run away from a fight, the teen would get into his own fighting stance. His left hand would be closer to Chiaotzu than his right hand, while he was standing perpendicular to the male. While his left hand was up at the level of the teen's face, his right hand would be held so that it was jutting out from his body, the palm facing the ground towards Chiaotzu. He figured this would have to do for now, as he developed a "fighting style" through this spar.
"To be honest, I've never been in an actual fight... This sure will be interesting for me," and without further ado, he would set into action the plan which he had been formulating. Chiaotzu was a good five meters from Kairin's current location which would work perfectly for him; Gohan could probably get out of the way before anything serious happened. Taking two running steps towards his opponent, Kairin would fire a Ki Blast from his right hand which had more or less kept the same trajectory towards the target. This would hit the ground with a lot of force, throwing dust and debris into the air due to the nature of the soul: it was hard and crust. Not waiting to see the results, Kairin would cause an Afterimage as he appeared behind the small man, using the distraction to hopefully be able to sand a powerful roundhouse kick at him (if he's floating) or a punt kick at him (if he's standing). Afterwards he would put distance between him and his opponent, should everything have worked out as planned.

ooc: you guys can skip me until the fight is over I will post then or to stop if it gets out of control.
He watched as this boy began to prepare the attack, he was firing a ki blast as Gohan jumped back away from the battle to watch but close enough to stop it if it got out of hand. It was a smart move by the boy but against someone as crafty as Chiaotzu it likely would not work. His fighting style was a tricky one and even Gohan trouble dealing with it because he can use his telekinetic powers. He wondered how Chiaotzu would respond was he rusty or had he kept up his training this fight would show everything as he watched closely.

Chiaotzu smiled as he saw the Ki Blast come at him, but hit the ground in front of him. The debris would normally have distracted him, but he'd already prepared for such an eventuality. He used his Telekinesis to keep the debris off of himself, so that he could see right through it.
He saw the boy leave an after image, the image not as solid as a real person would be. Clever. Distraction AND After Image. Color me Impressed. But what the boy didn't count on is that Chiaotzu kept his senses on the boy the whole time, and he felt him materialize behind him. Chiaotzu turned to face his opponent, and stopped his punt kick with his Telekinesis. In fact, because of the difference in Power Levels, Kairin would be immobilized right now.
Chaiotzu smiled at the boy, his grin one of elation and genuine appreciation. "Good, young man. I'm very impressed. Using a distraction and a sneak attack is a common tactic against a stronger opponent, but not always reliable. Especially when your opponent is used to fighting tougher opponents himself, like me. My recommendation; Work on a more direct route, but try to throw some distractions in there. It seems more suicidal, but, trust me, it's better than using the same tactic all the time where someone could see your pattern."
Chaiotzu released the boy as he leaped back, the tip of his right index finger glowing with a familiar yellow glow. He pointed his finger at the boy and grinned even bigger. "Now, let's see how fast you really are. DODON RAY!!" As he yelled, he thrust his finger at Kairin. The glowing ball turned into a thin but powerful wave of energy, almost like a lightning strike as it launched at Kairin.

So, there was some hidden power that Kairin had not accounted for in his attack. It was like the... child-like-figure had stopped Kairin's attack with simply his mind, because there wasn't anything else he could really think of that would attest to Kairin's leg being stuck in place, along with the rest of his body. Surely it was an interesting trick, and he would have to keep it in mind while he plotted his next attack; talking too much during a fight really gives your opponent too much time to think. Sure, this was only a friendly training spar, but words could come after the deed was done. Right now Kairin wanted to test his reaction skills and strategy planning for on the spot analysis, which was currently working at its hardest to think of potential attack ways. The person was small, probably faster, had some sort of mind trick or other ability that would result in Kairin being immobilized, and above all had a much higher power level. Awesome.
The advice given to him would be taken into consideration, although for now he would try and see what results he could produce by himself. Maybe book smarts would not help him in a fight, but it was best to see where his personal strengths and weaknesses were so he could increase his strengths, and turn the weaknesses into more strengths. There were only two things that really pulled Kairin's strings. First off, Chiaotzu was talking as if Kairin had been using the same strategy twenty times in a row, when he had simply tried something once. It wasn't so much a person thing as a political correction, and was the lesser of two evils. What was really getting the teenager is that Chiaotzu wasn't trying; that or he was just a really inexperienced fighter who had astounding ability.
Since the finger of the male had been glowing since the immobilization had worn off, Kairin had been expecting some sort of energy beam or blast to come from it. Since he was not sure he would not try to test it, and simply take a quick step back while the small adult made a sort of tease about the swiftness of the teenager. The much louder volume of the name of the technique would draw instant attention to the fact that he was indeed utilizing whatever exactly it was he was attacking with. To be honest it was more instinct than anything else; he would have to hone it so that it didn't just happen when it wanted to, but that he could actually do it. Quickly moving out of the way resulting in an Afterimage, Kairin would appear on the other side of the male, supposedly unscathed. Whether or not Chiaotzu was trying or not, this was definitely not going to be easy, the technique was fast and if it wasn't for the shining of the finger, the surprise of it might have done enough to make contact.
"That's quite a neat trick you have, if you hadn't given me the warning it might have gotten me good. However, I just want to say two things," as the teenager would get ready to put his plan into action. "I only tried my tactic once, so I don't think I have a fear of my opponent seeing a pattern. When there is only one given fact, no pattern can statistically be formed, because at the same time everything could be a potential pattern. Also," as another Afterimage would be formed, with Kairin moving in a semicircle towards the front of the man. He figured that Ki Sensing was another one of his abilities, so whether or not the afterimage was needed was debatable, sometimes the speed just made them happen. "I'm going to have to ask that you actually try in this fight. I don't know if you are or if you aren't, but I'm not going to get the full understanding of a true fight if you're going easy on me," appearing in front of the male, Kairin would attempt to give an open palm strike to the head with his right hand, he rest of his body in a ready stance for both offensive and defensive maneuvers. If the same trick was tried, than Kairin would be ready to get past that weakness.
