Kairin would be walking around the streets of West City with a blank mind, not sure exactly what he was going to be doing today. There were a number of things on his to do list, but the constant that always remained at the top of the list was to get some training in, but just how much training could he really get in the city aspect of things? Sure, there was that new device for training that he had heard something about, but chances are it was full of prospective people looking to get in a good work out or something... but was there a lot of harm in trying to see if there was room for him to pop in for a little bit to use it? He didn't know a lot about it, simply because the information he had heard on it was quite vague in context, though he essentially knew enough about to locate it. Heading off towards the location of the Capsule Corporation, hopefully he wouldn't have to ask for assistance.
From his understanding, it was a large tool used mostly by Frieza's Warriors and the likes because it was an excellent way to get stronger, and basically it was another one of the ways for the Capsule Corporation Staff to keep the tyrant out of taking over the City. Sure, the fact that it was not yet enslaved was a positive aspect, but to be training the enemy was just one of those things that wasn't getting any positive aspects. Moving away from that, if such people actually used the training device, then maybe it would be a lot better to use it than was first thought? Of course that only made the chance of it being occupied greater, but that was only of so much concern. If it was taken then he would move on with his life, and if it wasn't then it would be a good time to get some training in.
Getting closer to the supposed location of the training device, Kairin would use his sensory ability, which it basically was, to try and find any unusual power levels within the vicinity of his location. A specific one was found, both because it was extraordinary, and fluctuating. Power levels were normally a constant, over time increasing and such, but this was going up and down. The change was really small and not following any sort of rhythm, but Kairin was able to detect it through more or less sheer luck. Heading in that direction, he would eventually get to the area, which was a large machine. Nearby there would be an alien of sorts, which was the power level that was fluctuating up and down earlier, although now it was not going anywhere, and much higher than earlier. Figuring the machine was free for use, he would just walk in and get ready to work.

Looking around the inside of the machine, he was quickly scanning for any bits of information that could be useful for him during this training session. Much to his surprise it just seemed to be a more or less open room with a lot of room to move about freely, and there seemed to be some form of pattern alone the room in terms of circular decor, but nothing that would really give him the type of reaction he was expecting. If it gave him the results he was looking for then he would be sorry to ever consider thinking of it as just a simply old room, but there was really nothing else he could think about it. The only think remotely "special" was the big computer-looking device in the center, but how much could a technological device such as a computer help him in increasing his physical strength? More than the teenager would at first be able to think. Walking around a little, he decided it would be best to just go ahead and warm-up his body. Getting down in a proper position, he would begin a set of fifty push-ups, nothing that would put any real strain on the body. For some people that would be impossible, but Kairin could probably just keep going all day; he had done a lot more rigorous training, and to think of that as a hard exercise would be beyond him. Of course the newly 'equipped' weighted clothing he was wearing would help to add a lot more weight to him, he was still much too fit to let it really drag him down, though he could definitely tell that it was adding a different twist. He would have to simply get used to it, and the best way to do that would just be to get up in the exercise's face, and begin pumping out the push-ups. One... two... three... as a green light would blink twice, signifying the chamber was activated. ----- COMPUTER ACTIVATED. GRAVITY CHAMBER ONLINE. BASIC GRAVITY INCREASE SET. TIMES TWO GRAVITY... ACTIVATED. -----
If it wasn't for that message then Kairin would not know what to think, as suddenly his body would be forced towards the floor of the room. You might not think of twice the normal gravity to be all that much for someone who had been training for a majority of their life, but when you add on the weight of special training clothing that he wasn't yet completely used to (though if he was that only meant he needed a heavier set), it was really something else. He would struggle to do five more push-ups, before deciding he should just do some very basic exercises, like walking, and maybe running. It would be a little fun getting on his feet, feeling like the gravity was about to trip him up, but eventually he would stagger up and just stand there... was this really happening to him?

The pressure was definitely pretty intense, although it was probably the initial shock that had really gotten him off of his natural feeling side. Now on his feet, he saw that he wasn't really being held down all that much, although of course it would be pretty fun getting used to all of this at once, especially with the new body weights holding him back. Stretching a little at his waist, the teenager would scan around the room, and see that it had a good enough amount of room to go for a little run. Lowering himself so that he was pretty close to the floor of the room, and do a little bit of a deep breathing exercise; he was off. No, he couldn't run nearly as fast as he normally was able to, and there would be no afterimages within the chamber for the remainder of his stay there, but he was still able to keep a pretty good pace for being in twice as much gravity compared to what he was used to.
Looking straight ahead at the wall as Kairin approached it, the boy would jump off of the floor onto the wall, landing on it sideways. Using momentum to keep him in place, he would continue to run around in a circle using the wall as his path instead of the floor, occasionally jumping around the place. Slowly he was getting used to the gravity, and little by little he was feeling the new sensation leave his body, although at the same time fatigue was bound to come in and take over. This type of thing couldn't be kept up forever, and after about two minutes Kairin could tell that he legs were beginning to tire out and lose their strength, although a short break would probably get them back into near-perfect state of being. Jumping off with a small back flip, it seemed Kairin would be returning to the floor for some good old push-ups while his legs took a little recuperation.
Finding out that although he legs had gotten used to the gravity and that his arms were not quite as used to it as the rest of his body, there was no going back at this point. It would be a struggle, but he would just have to keep going on with it, knowing that if he kept going on with his set that later on it would not feel as bad. Of course there was no point in going straight out with a high number of the exercise at once, doing them in sets of five with a few seconds of rest in between would help greatly. It would take roughly a dozen of the small sets, but eventually the push-ups did not feel like Kairin was trying to lift a weight that was much too big for him, which in reality was nothing more than his body. Taking off the weights would surely make Kairin feel as light as a feather, even though he was in the increased gravity, but it was not the time for that. Doing so would take away from the experience; which was just beginning...

Using his hands to push up off of the floor and into midair, Kairin would maneuver his body so that he would land straight on his feet. All of the momentum would be taken into consideration, so that he wasn't underestimating or overestimating how much to gravity would alter his landing. So far things seemed to be going pretty smoothly, after all things were only doubled which really was not a lot when comparing that to the normal gravity of other planets that are out in the universe, not that Kairin really knew any of their statistics off of the top of his head. If he had to guess, Frieza's planet was probably at least five times that of Earth, although in reality it could have one-tenth earth's, or a hundred time's that of the planet he was on right now. The thought that this could be nothing more than sleeping to Frieza would really allow Kairin to excel through this, wanting to go to higher stages in the exercise; after all this was only the basic gravity level. There had to be higher settings or else it wouldn't be as productive as it could be, for both alien and humans alike.
Looking around, the whole gravity thing had been a new experience at first, and it wasn't that he was not getting a workout simply walking around in the room... but was this all that the training facility had to offer? Sure, you could really work on speed and strength in there, but was there any sort of combat-oriented training button or something that would add on some sort of twist to it all? It was a machine, so there was always the possibility it had some sort of voice-activated system that would do something fun, but having just sort of wandered in, he wasn't positive as to how he had started the machine in the first place. Probably a sensor scanning his power level to decide upon the level of gravity increase, as well as pure motion sensors to initially start up the machine, with where he was now... Attacking it could always work, because from the looks of it, he wasn't going to be doing a lot of damage fast.
With what he thought to be the main computer of everything, Kairin would simply aim his hand, and fire a Ki Blast at it. Good results would come in, as the second he had been charging the attack before it actually materialized, some sort of robot came down from a chute above, landing right in the path of the attack. It took some damage, but from the looks of it, it was more than ready to take continued hits, and even dish out more. -That was it, the chutes in the ceiling, something he had not taken a lot of thought about, were where the combat bots were held- Spotting four more in the entire vicinity of the room, a similar thing would be done with firing off the Ki Blasts, and in a matter of seconds Kairin would be the center of five bots. This would surely be a work out, but by the looks of things they weren't going to be attacking him unless he continued on with more attacks: probably so that someone who accidentally activates them doesn't end up getting killed because they weren't strong enough. It was only a machine, his mind was more than capable of dealing with them.

Taking in a deep breathe, Kairin was just trying to get himself ready for the upcoming spar. The robots were probably made to mostly defend, as well as attack in non lethal way, probably equipped with a sort of stun ray that would immobilize the target, whether for roughly a set amount of time, or just shut them out cold. They were also probably specially made, and would be able to zoom around in the gravity; maybe have some sort of anti-gravity device that would make it as if they were in normal gravity or the likes. It was definitely interesting trying to decide what they were made with or to do, but that honestly wasn't that big of a concern, just so long as Kairin could defeat them and get really used to this form of gravity, it would make him that much stronger and equipped to be taking on Frieza's forces, putting him that much higher in the overall tier of things. Still, he would have to continue working to become a true contender.
Thinking about how he was going to play this, he really had no sort of plan to go with since the way the machines operated was at this point unknown to him. A few places on their main body he could tell were where the weapons were, so he would just have to continue along with this until he got a better understanding of just how their operating functions were meant to react to the movements of a human, which was probably programmed into their combat system, both for offensively dealing nonlethal damage, as well as defensively taking hits so as not to truly damage the infrastructure design of them. Man the people at Capsule Corporation really were geniuses, it was no question as to why Frieza did not enslave them, they would lose their true drive for making this type of thing, and killing them would get his army no where in the field of advancement.
Seeing as he had nothing to lose, Kairin would make an Afterimage in the center of things, in reality moving towards the first of the four bots which he had spawned. This was to test how they worked, whether it be motion, sensory systems, or what. They would automatically be able to track his system, showing that it was most likely some sort of tracking system that was able to hone onto his power level, and just keep a honing system on it. That, or there was a very powerful motion sensor attached to all of the bots, but that was much less effective, so for now he would just have to imagine it was the first of his thoughts. With nothing to really lose and only a few feet between him and the robot at this point, Kairin would lunge forward with his hands ready to attack, his pure speed able to best the lone robot, although they would all switch to attack mode the moment his hand made contact with the metal shield, putting him on the offense in this little game.

There, at that moment the other three bots would begin moving in towards Kairin, and down so at pretty tremendous speeds. It was as if the gravity was not affecting them in the slightest, and that was definitely not good news for Kairin, because he was still being pretty slowed down by the gravity. He had tried to get used to it, but doing so was not a matter of minutes, it took multiple experiences to get the true effect out of it, something that he just didn't have at this point. It was a good thing that these bots only had a stun attack, else Kairin might have ended up getting killed by them. Pushing forward, it would be time to put his plan into effect. The bot which he had initially hit would be pushed back a matter of inches, before pushing forward towards Kairin, attempting to hit him with some sort of whip. Knowing he couldn't let any of their attacks come into contact with him for the fear of the gravity plunging him towards the ground, he would quickly dodging through the air, before sending a kick at it.
At that point the other three bots would have closed in on him, and Kairin would fire off a Ki Blast at each of them to move them away from him, although their shields seemed to be made of a Ki deflective sort of material, another point towards them. There was no easy war out other than to give it his all, and just know that he had as fair a chance as winning as they did, if not better. Quickly getting to the floor, Kairin would push off towards the one on the far left, attempting to get under it. It was clear the thing would not just let him do so, and he would push off with his hands with a double kick to push it up in the air, at which point he would rush forwards underneath it. His speed would be enough to get past it, and all four of the bots would be behind him, although the worry about all of them was a concern. If there was just one main bot that was immensely powerful in structure, that would be better...
Apparently the bots were waiting for him to make another move, although Kairin would take this as an opportunity to look around again. Walking over to the main computer, it would seem as if it had some interactive possibilities that Kairin had not noticed earlier, probably from the initial hock of the gravity upon him, and his attempt to get past it. There were a lot of little notches and things, one that was at two as well as one that was at four, with one that was at none. Turning the one that was at four to five, another bot would come from the ceiling... interesting. Moving that back to zero, the bots would disappear, as another one from the center would appear from turning the last switch. It seemed more compact than the others, and was airborne to add to it all; this would be his opponent. One bot was all he needed, and from the looks of it, it was much better in terms of design than the others.

The bot in front of him was probably an attack bot of sorts, designed to be a better training module than the other ones simply because it would actually be able to damage you, although who knew... Without getting hit by it he would not be able to really gauge how much damage it would do against him, and he doubted it would actually damage the interior of the chamber, because that was just a money situation that was not looking too good for the Capsule Corporation... although if such a thing was needed they probably technically had the money for such a repair on the training device. Man, with money really came power, even Kairin's mind alone was nothing without the funding to be able to use it for the better of humanity, which was really why he was now a fighter for the humanity of Earth.
Running towards the bot, Kairin would aim to toy with it at first, and see if he would even stand a chance against it. Firing an array of Ki Blasts at it, the thing would actually dodge them, with the interior absorbing the Ki, truly phenomenal. Then it would jut towards him, who would have a tiny bit of time to push out and to the right, for which it would follow. It had a much greater speed, so Kairin would have to think of it as if it was a really opponent, not a machine that had programming in it. Jumping up towards the ceiling, the machine would once more follow him up, in which he would forcefully push off the ceiling with his hands, leaving them stretched above him as he came down. The machine would dodge in front of Kairin since that was where the least amount of maneuvering was needed, which was what he had been planning for.
Bringing his hands down but leaving his palms open, a pair of Ki Blasts would be launched at the machine from point blank range, right as it appeared to be charging up its own attack, probably because it was not at this point warmed up. It was a good thing the Ki Blasts seemed to stun it for about halt a second, halting the progression of the charge, and allowing Kairin to get room in between him and it. If he wanted to stand a chance against it he would have to outsmart it, and it was not exactly easy to outsmart a super computer, especially when you're really only able to use a fraction of your brain's true capacity. Genius or not he would have to tread lightly and strike as hard as his body was able to, all the same getting a nice workout in a controlled environment.

It would seem as if this machine was not like the others in that it just continued on with its attack. As soon as Kairin found himself on the other side of the room, it would likewise begin to charge at him, and trying to get it to crash into the side of the chamber was probably not going to work, so he might as well try something else. Right as he was about to put his plan into action a laser shot would come at him, and he would just instinctively get out of the way. The interior seemed to shrug it off as if it was a bullet trying to cut water, but chances are if that thing managed to hit him, Kairin would have a nice hold in him for others to look through. As much fun as all of this was, it would probably be for the best if he just got rid of the machine, before it managed to get rid of him... That would mean getting back to the computer.
Left... right...? What was he supposed to do? Running towards the thing as it fired shot after shot, the teenager would just have to dodge them one at a time, before coming close enough to the bot to slide underneath it. It would seem to work, at which point it was probably going to just turn around and start firing at him again... although it seemed to lack the need to turn around, and would instead just start firing in his direction. Right... not a human. Goes off of sensory as a whole, not limited to a pair of eyes... great. Not wasting a second he would immediately begin running towards the computer, but by the looks of it he would be caught too far in front of it to just reach the knob and send the machine back from where it had come from, so he would have to try it from a different approach.
Unfortunately he really didn't have a backup plan, and would just fire Ki Blasts behind him to get the machine off of the direct path, and he would jump to the right as well, which would put him closer to the computer but not close enough. He could risk firing the Ki Blast at a controlled course, but if it ended up simply damaging the system or releasing another sort of machine, then it would be more than likely death... unless the laser shots were really just meant to stun just as much as the weaker bots. Seeing nothing else to do, Kairin would charge away from the computer towards the bot, finding the locations where it fired its laser beams, and aiming away from them. If he would get on top of it and it didn't have any sort of close range defense system, which he deemed impractical for such a device, this could be like a walk in the park... sort of.

He was getting much closer to the thing, and with every step he would have to watch himself even more, because he was closing the gap for which the laser shots would be able to make contact with him. Having noticed that they only came from a certain plain on the machine, if he could actually get on top of it in a certain way, he should be more than fine for at least a certain amount of time, although there really were a lot of variables to take into consideration. With no time to be doing the math, it would just be based off of pure gut and instinct for how the rest of this was going to play out, especially should one of those shots actually manage to hit them. Their bark was rather low because they weren't the fastest of all attacks, but the potential they could hold was more than enough to make Kairin not want to test out how much damage they can do to human flesh.
Now close enough to decide upon the trajectory of his launch, he would wait a split second for one of the shots to come at him, having found out the time between each shot. He would duck underneath it, giving himself roughly one and a half seconds to get on top, which was more than enough. He would push off to the ceiling, before pushing back down. The gravity at this point would help him greatly, as he moved down with a tremendous force and speed on top of the machine, sending it as far down as the floor. The contact of two metals would chime through the entire chamber, as the bot would immediately begin to try and shake off its rider. Just as he predicted there was no way for the thing to attack him once he had gotten on top other than to get him off, although it certainly had an array of choice for that.
At first it would simply try to fly around to get him off, probably having a programmed list to go through. Then that didn't work it would shake and spin, although Kairin would be more than physically capable of holding on. When it tried to slam him hard into the wall of the chamber... he wasn't exactly too please. Grabbing the machine from four points using both his feet and legs, he would give a good swing to the left, causing the module to twist just enough for all machine to hit the wall, and all human to remain safe, even if just for a little bit longer. Not letting it do all of the attacking, Kairin would start sending punches with precision, trying to weaken a specific point on the bots whole. If he managed to get on the inside of it, it could be that he could forcefully deactivate it rather than wimp out.

From the looks of things Kairin beginning to smash in on the metal robot would cause it to go haywire in sorts, he was probably hitting around a particularly important area on the robot which held the main control center for it all. Other than that he could only conclude that making contact with it as a whole was doing so, and that it had more speed than defense... Having only hit it with a couple of Ki Blasts at this point, he could imagine that the material it was made of was highly resistant to Ki Blasts and not so much to blunt damage, which would make sense. If a dozen of these things were spawned at a high gravity level it would be much easier to just blast them all with an even higher number of Ki Blasts a second, but if they were made of a metal that basically deflected that sort of attack, it made for a much more intense training, right?
Not wasting a lot of time thinking about that side of this, Kairin would just keep up with his assault, figuring he would smash into the inside of it, where he would then send in a Ki Blast. Bypassing the outer layer of protection was like having free roam on the organs of the "monster", which would be basically unprotected. Of course if this thing was made with multiple layers of "skin" and one of them just so happened to be extra defensive towards blunt trauma and was too strong for the Ki Blasts from his power, then he could once more find himself in a jar... but that would just hopefully not be the case. What was a problem was that hitting metal constantly was not good for the boy's hand, which was getting sore at an alarming rate, and after another dozen or so punches he would at least have to take a break or find an alternative.
Simply switching over to his left hand would not work, because the point was to hit it in a controlled area to over time do a lot of damage. Moving around too much could get part of his body in the way of the guns that were equipped all along the middle part of the robot, which was equally if not worse than starting off new with his left hand. It would come where he didn't want to risk breaking the skin, and the only feasible think that was really an option was to start firing off Ki Blasts. There was a sign of cracking, and if it happened to be that the atomic structure for this metal, whatever it happened to be, the fact that it was cracked could be enough to take away a majority of its Ki-blocking potential. Not wasting time, Kairin would begin sending them down at the cracks, and with each one the cracks would start to expand, even if just a little.
