Androids are artificially created super humans. They are robotic/cyborg humans that are said to have unlimited energy and eternal life. Many also have no aura so they cannot be found through the use of scouters or ki sense like other races. The abilities and appearance of Androids can differ widely, depending on who built them and how they were built. However, a large majority of the greatest Androids were built by mastermind, Dr. Gero.
Techniques
- Flight: The ability to fly without the use of Ki
- Android Barrier: A technique where energy is thrust out from the body in the form of a barrier with great force. The barrier can be used to both defend against oncoming projectiles and to expand and damage its surroundings
- Energy Attack: The most basic form of energy wave used by androids
- Finger Beam: A barrage of narrow rays emitted from the index finger of its user
- Destructo Disk: A powerful razor-sharp disk of ki capable of slicing through nearly any opponent
- Enhanced Masking: An android's ability to mask their energy considering that they have no aura. This allows them to be undetectable even while fighting at full power.
- Perpetual Energy R&D: An advanced energy system which makes it so no matter how much energy an android uses, they always remain at full power.
- Ki Absorption: The ability to absorb ki from an opponent to make the user even stronger while weakening the opponent. The amount of ki drained is proportional to the opponent's energy. Thus, a couple seconds of gripping will always drain a quarter of their ki. However, the weakness lies in the opponent's ki being much higher. It can easily overwhelm an android.
- Mimicry: The ability to use the signature blasts of others after witnessing their use. Mimicry techniques will usually be omitted from memory some time later.
- Self-Destruction: The ability to set off a bomb within themselves which is tens of times stronger than the user's maximum potential energy.
