The city life indeed was boring to a young man that was anything like Boxie. He had a sister who he didn't see that much anymore, a mom who was too busy trying to keep everyone in West City alive, and a dead dad who he had to try to revive somehow.
All the things stressing him, he really wanted to get away, but he also knew that he would have to go back to it all soon. "I need a team, and fast... First person I should get though, is someone who I already know is pretty smart, and not hard to reach.." This person was obviously Jean, and knowing him, he was most likely somewhere training, thinking.
Boxie flew towards the forest, out of West City. When he got there, he could already see Jean. "Hey there nephew!" He smiled while waving at Jean.

Jean was doing little more than practicing, perfecting, his new technique in the wooded area just outside of West City. Boring stuff, but this was what he did in his solitude. Keeping his distance from watching eyes was the best way to stay alive long enough to get his father back… still he had to work on the details of how that would work out, but nevertheless he was thinking about it each day.
The boy stopped, tensing his stance at the notice of an approaching power level. Sure, he could attempt to hide, but there was a feeling of familiarity with this one.
”Oh, hi,” he answered the wave with a slightly uncertain wave of his own. The gesture was a confused one, clearly he had not been expecting to see either of Bulma’s children out here.

The answer from Jean was expected, and Boxie nervously smiled at his "nephew" from the future. Boxie needed help with his team, and he didn't know how Jean would react if Boxie asked him directly, so he would ask some silence breaking questions. "So, how's life....? I heard you did good in the tournament, were you nervous? Where are you staying at now?"
All these rapid questions would have to wait for answers... Because soon, loud foot steps would be heard, shaking the ground as they step, knocking Boxie and probably Jean off balance. This... Beast.... Had a head and horns like a Warthog, a body of a rhino, and the strength of a... Combination of the two?! Either way, if anyone had a scouter, this thing would have a power level of around 8,400. It came out of the wilderness and charged at Jean and Boxie.
