He's got a lean and fit build on an average frame. Thanks to a trait he inherited from his mother, Kymao's short, straight hair has a habit of changing color when he sneezes. It switches from brown to blonde. Thanks to the training he was subject to because of his father Kymao has a few scars despite his young age. Both palms were burned while he was learning to defend against energy attacks. He has a few frostbitten spots along his upper chest and back as well, though they only go through the first or second layer of skin. He earned these while meditating with his father on a mountain in the north. LIKES:

PERSONALITY: Though he inherited a split in his personality from his mother it is not as prominent and 'black and white' as hers. There are still traits that the two do not share, and a couple that they clash on. Brown haired: The more open and friendly of the two, this side of Kymao tends to go out of his way to help out others. Optimistic and Altruistic through and through. He tends to avoid fighting when he can, having a distaste for hurting others. Though more pacifistic than his other side, he would fight to protect another person, even an enemy if the enemy was helpless at the time. Blonde haired: Calm, calculating, and more for action than words, this side of Kymao is definitely the more combative of the two. He's stubborn and never backs down from a challenge. He's fought his father more than a few times and gotten his rear handed to him for it, too. It hasn't stopped him from trying again and again. He's not the type to take orders from anyone. STRENGTHS:

HISTORY: Kymao grew up in hiding alongside his mother and father. Knowing the kind of world in which they lived, Kymao's father, Tien, began preparing his son for the hard life ahead of him when he was very young. From the time he was three years old, Tien worked with his son and trained him. Kymao's training was slow at first, as one would expect of a human child. This gave his father more time to train in solitude. As Kymao grew older training from his father grew more frequent and more intense. Kymao came to resent his father for the harshness and strictness of his training, but the main reason he's garnered a distaste for his father was that he had no decision in whether or not he would train, when, or even where they would train. Though it would seem a trivial matter to most, being as self reliant and free spirited as Kymao is he was unhappy with how things went. Kymao would return home to rest and recuperate with his Mother's care when the training got too rough for him to handle in his younger years, but as his already worn body can attest, there came a point when he was too stubborn and determined to call it quits. He has a begrudging respect for his father now that he has come to partially understand the reasoning behind his actions. The shear dedication and discipline that Tien displays could not be denied, and his prowess as a fighter were just as noteworthy. For these reasons, the warrior spirit Kymao has learned from his father forces him to respect his mentor and parent. He hopes that he'll one day be able to best his father, as so many sons do, but more importantly he wants to see his planet free of the tyrannical rule that currently plagues it. [/style] |
